Dr. Robert Laurence Bard, MD

Dr. Bard and his staff were incredibly, patient, kind and knowledgeable. He is a renowned expert in his field with exclusive equipment found no where else in this country. He made my wife feel cared for and relieved her fear. Thank God for Dr. Bard!

I have had a growth that several radiologists could not figure out- and they love to say "it's nothing, it's all in my head!". But Dr. Bard found it right away with his advanced imaging and gave me the peace of mind I was looking for. I brought my friends and family to him and they were all even more impressed than I was. He is thorough to say the least, but his technology is fast and no-wait! Worth the trip to the city!

Dr. Bard was recommended to me by another physician as a specialist in ultrasound, in my case as an alternative to mammography to avoid radiation. As it turned out, because I have fibrocystic breasts this is a superior diagnostic method to begin with. Despite the expense (my insurance would not cover because he is "out of network"), I certainly have no regrets. There is nothing like knowing one is seeing a leader in the field, and after more than a seven-month delay (because of my schedule, not his--I could have gotten an appointment within days of my initial call had I so chosen), between Dr. Bard's expertise and clear explanation, not to mention the good news, I was able to sleep for the first time in months. (Previously I had had a "high tech" blood test that indicated the presence of breast cancer cells.) Completely satisfied and highly recommended!

Very professional and knowledgeable, always up to date about his business, absolutely latest technology! I came from Germany to the US because he was recommended to me. Would certainly come again if I‘d have another issue!

I have been dealing with an up and down PSA for the past eleven years with it mostly up in the past few years. I had a biopsy back in 2006 before I read more about the possible side effects. The biopsy was negative. Between 2013 and 2016 I had three MRIs and one sonogram, all were negative but my PSA was still going up. I had my annual physical last month and my PSA was 17.9! I was thinking the worst and scheduled an evaluation by Dr. Bard. I have read about him for several years so I knew about his ability to tell his patients what was going on in the prostate. Dr. Bard is a "Joe Friday" kind of guy so I see how some may view him as a little short. Not me, I like it when my Doctors cut to the chase. It appears I have a bad case of prostatitis; none of the urologist I have seen through the years even talk about prostatitis. Dr Bard is compassionate, courteous and he is the only one who can help me get to the bottom of a complication with a previous cosmetic procedure through state of the art, advanced diagnostic procedures. He is ahead of times with state of the art diagnostic technology that I had never heard of before. He is not just another MD, he is a scientist!

I love Dr. Bard. He is wonderful i feel blessed that i found him. God led me to him when i needed him and i am greatfull. He is always on the money and really is a fantastic radiologist. He is very professional. He is extremely bright.

He's really not a nice person and has a horrible bedside manner as a physician. Moreover, he completely misdiagnosed my problem. He should have retired long ago.
