Dr. Robert C Bianco, MD

Nice guy. But I wouldn't trust him... I had chest pain for months on end. After numerous tests, and several ER visits, my pcp said it seemed less anxiety. Nothing was being found. But he sent me to Dr. Bianco for a stress test and echocardiogram anyways. They found that they believe to be an atrial myxoma. And in stead of telling me what it was, he said, "this has nothing to do with your symptoms, and we really probably don't need to do anything at all. But I'll go ahead and call this other doctor and get his opinion. " he called the guy while I was in the office, was clearly acting, and finally said, "ok, we're going to schedule you to go see him and get another look. He agrees that we probably don't need to do anything, but we will do this anyways, just to make sure." The whole thing was an act. 1st - research atrial myxoma and you find that it requires surgery. The 2nd test isn't a discussion, the only treatment for it IS surgical removal... 100% of the time. 2nd… - though he did tell me the truth that it's not a huge deal, the fact that it's open heart surgery, means something... as a patient, you deserve the truth. The fact that recovery is relatively short, and there's only approximately a 2% mortality rate, with nearly a 100% success rate is important data. 3rd - my symptoms directly correlate with the symptoms of an atrial myxoma, as they're listed on every medical reference website I found... so the fact that he completely discarded my symptoms meant that, had I not done my own research, I would have continued to wonder why I have been in discomfort for so long. Bottom line, if you're referred to Dr. Bianco, I highly recommend refusing the referral and asking for a different doctor. You obviously can't trust this one.

could not establish a "relationship" with him--just in and out; good at returning test results personally and by phone; staff more interested in payment of deductible even though refunds frequently received--don't know if figures were correct as no statement or itemization was given

Just becasue you earn a degree doesn't make you a doctor, and he definitley is not. Rude, obnoxious, anger issues!!

I heard about Dr. Bianco from a neighbor who was pronounced died and he brought him back to life. On my visit he did not go by what he was told by anyone else. He evaluated my report and found the Holter Moniter reading by the computer was not accurate. He called me a home the next day to make sure I did not worry. I found him highly intelligent, personable and caring.

Dr. Bianco's is a great doctor. The only thing is the turnover at his office of employees is out of control. He needs his old checkout girl. Some may say she was rude but she at least knew what she was doing and ran that office well.

I WOULD NEVER EVER step in this doctor's office again. WHERE DID HE GET HIS DIPLOMA? In a diploma mill? The guy is incompetent, rude and his office people are a simply awful. I'm now with a doctor in St. Augustine who is simply wonderful.Save your time and pick someone else to take care of your heart, Bianco is a butcher.

BIANCO LOST A NEW PATIENT TO DAYTONA CARDIOLOGY. PAM OR THE OFFICE MGR. NEEDS TO FIRE HER IMMEDIATELY.SHE JUST COST THE BIANCO FAMILY ABOUT 2000.00 BUT SHE WON'T CARE BECAUSE SHE STILL GETS HER CHECK ON FRIDAY...

Check out person needs training in people skills. Dr. Bianco calls personally, all test results, usually the same day.

Dr. Bianco is an outstanding doctor, and I would rate him excellent...However his staff ( one person) at the checkout and scheduling position needs to be fired, even if she is a relative....

Staff at check out and scheduling needs to be dismissed
