Very accessible, spends time with patients and answers questions clearly.

My family has been patients of Dr. Robert Brateman for more than 30 years. He is a great physician, a fantastic diagnostician, and a very good care manager. His affiliation with Providence Hospital also is fantastic. HOWEVER, on more than one occasion we have had problems with his office staff, most notably with his dark haired office manager - intake secretary. In the past she was insulting and dismissive with my wife on more than one occasion. And recently, when I phoned the office to inquire why getting approval for a necessary prescription refill was taking so long, She was absolutely insulting. I was especially concerned about negative health consequences if the medication runs out. But, this poor excuse for a person whose main job is interacting with patients hung up on me, instead of telling me how long it would be before the office filed the necessary paper work, she just hung saying "I've had enough of you!" I was livid and drove to the office to demand an apology,… get answers to my questions, and report this incident to Dr. Brateman or another MD. I was angry, may have been loud, but was not threatening. Still, instead of letting me see a doctor or apologizing, the office staff threatened to call the police. Both my wife and I have serious heart conditions, and our interactions with this secretary/intake person have on more than one occasion sent our blood pressures through the roof. Dr. Brateman would be well advised to get rid of her before she is a contributing factor to the death of one of his patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Robert Brateman for over 20 years. I do trust him with my life.

Dr brateman has got to lay off the Xanax he nodes out when he examines his patients my whole family has gone there for years and they all notice are worried about him,he will perscribe anything u want

Staff is somewhat rude and unprofessional, did not want to answer questions stating they were too busy.

Dr. Brateman is an excellent doctor. He is intelligent, compassionate, and very dedicated to his patients.

Best physician on the planet! Cares about his patients. He has cared for three generations of my family.

I waited over an hour. Absolutely no bedside manner not even a handshake. I will not go back

Terrible Office Staff. The nurse told me I was not Lethargic to accommodate me that day when i told her I had fever.

Dr. Brateman filled-in when my primary doctor was not available. He explained everything and spent as much time as I needed. He explained why the specialist he referred me to was the best in the area. His experience was very evident. There was an emergency in the office that impacted my wait time, but I was happy he took the time to fill-in.
