While in the military, he completed a fellowship in pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to joining Allergy & Asthma Associates he practiced pulmonary and critical care medicine at the West Florida Medical Center Clinic for six years.
