Dr. Robert Carman, DO

Dr. Carman is one of the worst surgeons I have ever come into contact with in my entire life. I mean this when I say DO NOT EVER go to him. He will botch your surgery, not care, and then try to force you to get more surgeries. Avoid him at all costs. I never write reviews, but if this can even save one person from ending up how I did then I will try. I got a surgery from him 7 months ago (one that I found out I never even needed). Not long after it got very badly infected because he failed to give me antibiotics afterwards. I was left with a huge wound that he told me would be fine and heal on its own without packing. Three months later, and after countless painful silver nitrate treatments, it never healed, and he tried getting me to do another surgery. After getting a second opinion the doctor told me the wound was not healing because he was not packing it and there was tons of debris and hair in my wound (mind you I even asked him if I should be packing it, to which he of course… said no). This delayed my healing by over three months, and I was left with a chronic wound as a result. I am still healing nearly 7 months later. Not to mention he never gave me the time of day or cared. He would only spend more than one minute talking to me if it was to recommend another surgery. So please take my advice when I say go to a different surgeon and ALWAYS get a second or third opinion because you cannot trust anyone these days.

My experience with Dr. Carmen was from the first visit to when I had my surgery and after absolutely great. He is so down to earth and in short order you feel comfortable around him because he is easy going and easy to speak with. I first meet him when I went in for a neck issue and I have to say that not only was he awesome but the staff are also awesome. I would highly recommend him. I promise you will not regret it.

Dr Carman has an excellent bedside manner and takes the time to explain the procedure to patients in layman’s terms. I was very happy with him, the surgical team and recovery.

Callous and in a hurry to get out of the office. After taking my daughter to other physians and explaining what took place in Dr. Carmen`s office, they were shocked and appalled.
