Dr. Robert Detweiler, DO

Arrogant doctor who only cares about liability and shuffling as many people as possible through his practice like cattle. Seems nice enough until questioned about treatment, medications, etc. and then his true colors become very apparent. Beware!

Detweiler Family Medicine is the poorest excuse for a health facility I have ever come across in my life. They're dealing drugs out of that facility and I'm currently reporting this to the FDA and the Better Business Bureau. I can't imagine the deaths and overdoses this place is responsible for. Office staff are not only rude, but incompetent. Doctors themselves most likely earned their degree online. This facility will be shutdown within the next six months due to their poor practices. They hold no moral values, no respect for any patient, and are only interested in what they can bill to your insurance company - most of this is fraudulent. They bill your insurance for services that were never rendered. They are only interested in being a pill mill to drug addicts because it's easy for them to collect the money. DO NOT go here if you value your health or your dignity. Stay away! Two doctors left the practice with no notice because they didn't want to have their name behind the… Detweiler establishment. I'm sure once this place is investigated they will be closed immediately and indefinitely. Dr. Robert Detweiler himself will be walking out in handcuffs. I highly recommend seeking treatment at any other office in the United States. It would be more beneficial to visit your pet's veterinarian; you would most likely receive better treatment. I'll be happy to see him receiving the same treatment in jail that he's been giving his patients.

I have ben a patient at this practice for 14 years. I would not dream of going anywhere else. Dr. Detweiler is excellent. The facility is clean and comfortable. So even though the office staff needs to improve their communication skills, I will still give Dr. Detweiler 5 stars. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Detweiler has been my family doctor for many years he has taken care of me since I was a child. He always spends the time I need with me, he is thorough, and has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever seen.

Excellent doctor-highly recommend. Wait time for appointment can be long - suggest you get first or second appt if possible. Some office staff need an attitude adjustment.
