Though he may be a very good surgeon, his bedside manner and communication skills are very lacking. My Mother had partial hip replacement. Follow up visit was tough because according to him, we could not ask the right questions or praise his surgery to his satisfaction.

Not a rooky the man knows his work tells u like it is I would refer him to anyone

I had a hip replacement in2014 he put wrong size in had to redo4 weeks later has not taken care of me as a patient. It is now3/16 and I have never had a1 year followup would not recommend him to no one give him negative5 stars

Robert Dickey refused to listen while I tried to explain my ailments. He gave me the hand, literally. He was rude and treated me very badly. I would not recommend him to anyone- not even my worst enemy!

Overall, I feel this surgeon is uncaring, has poor bedside manners, does not listen well, is too concerned about what you/your insurance will pay rather than helping you and he does not care to spend much time explaining things. I wish I had taken the time to research other MDs before my surgery, now I regret having this man get his hands on my knee.
