Dr. Robert Joseph Doria, MD

Had 5 way heart bypass surgery as far as I know it was a good surgical team ! He is probably a good Doctor but Trying to get to ask him a question a few years later I was Treated absolutely Terrible ! I only wanted him to give me an opinion and write a letter to the VA ! It is IMPOSSIBLE his staff said I would have to become a patient again to talk to him! I lost my Insurance because of the surgery and it makes me wonder if I needed the Surgery At All or If They Said Hey he has Great Insurance instead of a Stent Lets Open Him Up ? Office Staff is Condesending and i was treated as an annoyance. I am Alive so I thank him But It seems they might be more concerned about money.

Busy doctor but very polite in explaining why he need to help people emergency cases sometimes

I found Dr. Doria to be a money-grubbing practioner of the worst sort. He is exactly the kind of physician who makes the medicare program so tragically ineffectual.Besides, his medical judgement can be very unsound, as it surely was in my case.

Has moved his office to a new address and telephone number has changed...

Office staff is condescending, patients are treated like annoyances, it takes forever to get an appt. and forget having a phone call returned. Dr. Doria is probably one of the best cardiologists in the county, but is rushed. good luck getting your 10 minutes of time unless you're actively having a heart attack. I tried transferring to another cardiologists office, but surprise...they are all connected in this county. As in no options. He should fire his entire staff and start all over.

Dr. Doria has a sense of urgency when necessary. He says what should be done and why. He then recognizes if the patient is being pro-active.
