Dr. Robert Earl Gould, DO

Chronic pain is not only a daily physical challenge, it is also an emotional challenge. Consequently, it is critical that a cohesive treatment plan takes each of these challenges into consideration. Dr. Gould and his team of caring and knowledgeable professionals are experts in their respective fields. Dr. Gould's main objective and priority is his patients' overall comfort. I highly recommend Dr. Gould for pain management.

Robert Gould is an okay doctor, but his bed side manor as a physician is horrible. His attitude is horrible unless you come in with his peticular shade of red lipstick, then you can get just about anything you want. I would never work for him again if he was the last dr on this earth. When I found out he was basically not at our practice any longer, I jumped literally for joy!!!

I met Dr. Gould, when he was with Ohio Health, in Delaware County. I followed him, to his Westerville, office, and then onto his Lewis Center location. He is just that great! He explains the best course of action for you, without talking down to you--and if you don't like what he has to say, he is okay with that. He just wants his patients to be as happy as he can make you. He always listens to me, and gives me the time and attention, I need. Thank you, Dr. Gould.

I have been Dr. Gould's patient for more than 6 years, so my experience and care is well documented. He gets to the bottom of what is needed and follows a close regiment of planned out care. I could not have made it through such a difficult diagnosis without his help.

Have seen him for the past 5 years he has been good. He listens to everything I have to say and even cares abouts my family. The waiting time to see him in the waiting room and in the exam room are really bad. Waiting 30+min for your appointment is not right. Also having to be 30 or 15 min early or your appointment is cancelled is crazy traffic happens. Other then that I think Doctor Gould is great.

There are so many pain mgmt Physicians but Dr. Gould is not one of them. His office requires you to be there 30 minutes ahead of time when in realty it takes 5 minutes. Sitting increases my pain level; I don't need another 25 minutes added on. Especially given that I had to wait to have Dr. Gould sit with for 5 minutes. He doesn't listen and he has no empathy for his patients. Getting a follow up appointment is near impossible. He only accepts a follow up if another physician requests it. Stay away from him and his ego.

As im reading all the negative reviews of Dr Gould im wondering if this is the same Dr Gould I see! As far as im concerned Dr Gould has been a wonderful Dr! Ive been seeing him for about 2 yrs now and have never had any issues at all. He has always been friendly and attentive. At each appt Dr Gould has always talked to me about my back pain and anything related to it without rushing me. Also I dont find him to be a pill pusher at all as some are saying in their review. I think hes right where he should be with that. Hes been sensitive to my pain issues and has helped me more than any other Dr. I know when i go to his office im not going to be treated as a number or a drug felon as so many other pain management Drs treat their patients, but instead im treated as a decent human being. As for spinal injections, hes done many on me. The injections have been a God send. The reason he does so many of them is probably because in many people with back pain they help a lot and can enable a… person to take less meds. One thing people must understand is the Drs giving spinal injections must often do numerous injectiions to find the right spot thats causing the pain. I dont believe Dr Gould does so many just for the money. They are not without risk and i seriously doubt hed do them if he didnt think they were necessary. I find my treatment by Dr Gould both physicallly and his bedside manner to be very good. The nurses have always been wonderful as well as his office staff. Ive rarely had to wait long for my appts. Usually im in and out of my appts in 30 to 40 mins. I love Dr Gould and would recommend him to anyone seeking help for pain. Ive seen several other pain Drs and believe me hes by far the best.

Bedside Manner is horrible..He doesn't listen !!! All he wants to do is shots when I've had all the shot's..He tells you one thing and does another..His staff's bedside manner needs work also..There is one women in office who is kind and caring..

Nothing but trouble with this office. Took forwver to schedule the first appointment which was only the consultation. Then had to wait befor the treatment. We never felt they cared that he was suffering. Then the "lost" his paperwork so he didn't get called back. We had to call them back. Offered no other help other than drugs. He wanted permanent relief. We had to call again for a prescription. Tild we could pick up on Tuesday. Went in on Tuesday , not ready. Blamed us for coming the wrong day. Never going back again!

Went to him for chronic neuropathy. Rush,rush, rush through the interview. Had to point out my diagnosis on my records from my neurologist as he did not read it correctly from his copy. Had to take an outrageously expensive drug screen for every narcotic known to man. Ordered a drug that my neurologist had rejected since I had had kidney stones. Took me off Gabapentin for this drug but never recommended restarting it or another similar. Prescribed an expensive cream from a specialty compounding pharmacy. Reduced my Vicodin from 7.5 to 5mG without telling me. Recommend I visit a podiatrist do electrical therapy twice a week for 8 weeks at $100 a session. Oh yes, my insurance considers that experimental and will not pay. Waited a month with increased pain to see him again. Two days before my visit the office calls to let me know he has dropped my insurance provider. I can see him if I want to pay cash ($220 cash). So now I have a monster bill for a totally useless drug screen and have … to find someone quick for some pain meds. Most frustrating expensive waste of time I've ever had with a Dr.
