The positive traits of this MD involve giving the kind of attention senior citizens seek and making home visits as needed. But the downside is asking dependent elderly for financial contributions to his practice for such things as taxes and potential lawsuits, etc. This takes advantage of the dependency seniors have on their MD's and is a nonprofessional aspect of practice condemned in eldercare books. If challenged or questioned, this MD has a tendency to last out or fault find in others rather than in himself and has great patience with his own trail and error learnings in administering medicines but none with trial and error learnings in eldercare on the part of caretakers.
