Dr. Robert Lee Young, DO

Absolutely the worst doctor I’ve ever had to deal with. His personality was awful. He knew what was wrong with me before letting me finish my sentence. Not only was he wrong about my situation, he lacked empathy, he was arrogant, and is not the type of person I ever want to have “helping” me or my loved ones. Or anyone else as a matter of fact. I’ve never been so disgusted after going to the doctor in my life.

My girlfriend had to go to the ER for drug interactions between her anxiety medication and nyquil. She had every symptom in the book... Nausea, throwing up, confusion, agitation, HALLUCINATIONS, dizziness, and she was fading in and out of consciousness. Dr. Young tested her for the flu, which came back positive, but had no concern about her other symptoms. Poison control recommended that she be given fluids and have blood-work done, which I mentioned to the doctor, but he dismissed me, simply saying that she is fine, she just needs rest. $240 later, we left with no help for her confusion and hallucinations, and a prescription to tamiflu and nausea medication. Throughout the whole experience he was dismissive of any of our concerns, rude, short, and acted like he had better places to be. I assumed he was busy, but after our visit was over I could see that he was just sitting as his desk, I assume doing "very urgent" paperwork.... but who knows. I do not recommend seeing Dr. Young.

The fact that in my trip to the ER being seen by Dr.Young, he did not once check my breathing or the pain on my side that had me in tears the entire two and a half hours I was there, not to mention I had been sent over from Urgent Care, is insane to me. I felt as if he did not care the entire time and felt he had better places to be the entire minute he was in the room.

He is a great Dr.I was in so much pain and he made sure to run all the test needed to find the problem causing my pain. Thank you so much Dr Young for caring K.MILLER
