Awful scheduling. Give you a prep procedure and then give you only 24 hours notice that the procedure will be almost 48 hours after you started prep. In other words, no food for 48 hours. Unacceptable. No respect for their patients time.

Dr. Cannon and his staff get an A+ from me. He is an excellent surgeon and I could not have had better support from his office staff. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, attentive. They return phone calls and encourage you to call with any questions at all. They have treated me royally and I am so grateful.

Dr. Cannon is skillful, compassionate, and will take time to answer your questions. He also has a sense of humor, which is always a good plus.

Dr. Canon came highly recommended by a surgical nurse and had a family as a patient. I have been very happy with his skill and bedside manner.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cannon's for 20 years. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Not very often do you find a doctor who takes the time the patient needs to answer their questions and make them feel at ease and to actually show that he cares. Whether it is surgery or just a doctor's appointment his bedside manner is hard to find these days in a doctor. Dr. Cannon will take the time you need to explain and answer your questions. He truly cares about his patients. His entire staff has always been very helpful and friendly.

Dr. Cannon performed a bilateral laparoscopic hernia repair on me. In the initial consultation, he took plenty of time with me to explain the procedure and address my concerns. He seems to be a very caring person with a lot of expertise and experience in the area of hernia repair. My surgery went well with quick healing and no problems. I can highly recommend him for this type of procedure.

I think Dr. Cannon is one of the best in Athens for treatment if you require surgery. He works long hours which concerns me but his associates say he is full of energy. I also had a second surgery and am in recovery from that. I trusted Dr. Cannon and I think he is in his prime. My husband works in a one of the hospitals and he was told that Dr. Cannon is one of the best.

My daughter had Gall badder surgery . Unfortunately the people who were on call for Dr Canon would not come in . We had to wait Saturday until Tuesday . A bunch of test when the Gall badder function test show is was bad.She had a C scan,Ultra Scan,Endoscopy,and a bunch of lab test. I think they took her blood about 4times to sent off some where. Dr Canon Came in like 8:00pm on Tuesday night. He done the Surgery it turned out Great! Unfortunately we be paying on this forever even with insurance we have. The Hospital will badger us a long with the other bill related stuff.

Dr. Cannon was called upon for an emergency gall bladder removal after consultation with two hospitals and two scans...gave me the low-down on what all of my vitals were indicating and showing.Upon removal, discovered that my gall bladder had already become infected with gang green. Afterwards, Dr. Cannon was proactive in following up on my condition and further explanation of my health situation. Today, I am much healthier and full of energy, and I am very happy with his treatment and attention to the details of my case.Follow-up was fine, too.
