Dr. Robert Melvin Rifkin, MD

Dr. Rfkin was filling in for our oncologist, who is on leave. We were there to review a recent scan and get advice on next steps. He didn't bother to review the scan, he didn't know what to tell us or how to help us, so he filled up the 15-minute appointment time with "updating" our son's chart (an admin function), insulting me, being very flippant when we did ask him a question, and regaling us with his vast qualifications. This, after he arrived about 45+ minutes late to our 15-minute appointment with no apology or explanation. This is unacceptable behavior!

Dr Rifkin’s calm manner reassured and instills confidence. He is professional, easy to converse with, takes the time to listen to your concerns and explains your issue in clear, concise language in a kind and caring manner. So glad that I was referred to him.

I’ve seen Dr Rifkin for about a year now and he Is genuine and care’s. What I find cool about him is be listen’s.

I transferred to Dr Rifkin for my multiple myleoma. He takes the time to explain my current conditions and solutions for my follow up care. I feel like I can trust his knowledge and interest in helping me. So glad that he is now my doctor.

He spends time. Gets to know you. And is very thorough in his diagnostics an lab work ups. He has jump through hoops to ensure I am getting proper care and I am forever grateful. If you are ever in a position where you need an oncologist, he’s the guy.

Through a long series of events, I ended up at Dr Rifkin's office. What a God send!!! No other doctor would take charge and inform me where I needed to go, what was next, etc. One visit with Dr Rifkin and I had an appointment for long awaited surgery, I knew what was going to happen when, I had the answers to all my questions. It was the miracle I had been praying for. If all docs practiced like Rifkin, this would be a better world. I'd give him 100 stars if there was such a thing. He is beyond awesome!!!

Dr. Rifkin spent so much time with me to explain my myeloma. I had a lot of questions and so did my daughter. He really explained the treatment and the side effects and the measurement of a response. Made me feel confident as I go on with this disease.
