Dr. Robert N Murray, DO

Dr. Murray was horrible to work with. He is one of those doctors that believes he is better than you. He didn't believe I had pain from UC and thought I was seeking pain meds. He caused me so much stress that my symptoms became much worse.

Was not the least interested in my issues. He was much more interested in being condescending. Even though he had my tests and referral in front of him, He said a couple of times that he didn't know why I was there.

I call his office and told them I was a diabetic. I need a diabetic prep for my colonoscopy and they said you gave to follow the instructions. The low fiber diet has to many carbs in it. They where no help. No pre consultation before procedure. I have other health problems besides diabetes.

If you are serious about your healthcare, put your trust in him. If you want to play games and do it your way, move on to someone else with more time and patience to waste. He has superb bedside manner and treats the whole patient, not just symptoms. Very thorough and detailed work. Excellent explanations and guidance. The Indianapolis office runs like a well-oiled machine. Staff are competent, compassionate, and friendly. Very happy to have crossed paths and looking forward to being his patient for many years to come!

I came into office with pain explained it all, he did schedule scope next day but after the scope would not helpe anymore, I came off some really bad meds I didn't need an pain came back tried to explain that something in this medicine was helping me and he basically told me I'm crazy! Yelled at me on phone and said he had a person with real pain to deal with needless to say I spent all night crying and upset! Worst gastro in lafayette if u want to get your money go to a regular MD not this DO doctor he is a joke!

He spends time with patients to geta correct diagnosis from the beginning.

I did not exactly click with Dr. Murray, but that was okay because I thought he might be a decent doctor. However, I did not enjoy his staff one bit, and they seemed bothered that I was even there. They were not helpful when I called back, and I am having billing issues that are driving me up the wall. They ask for a deductible before the procedure (should've sent up a red flag there), and now I cannot get my procedure back. This is getting old, and I regret going there.
