Saw Dr. Pettis today and was very impressed. It only took one week to get an appointment. They have a great follow-up when you are on the waitlist if they have cancellations and I got in sooner than expected (A+). the visit was very thorough. I was given a sinus CT in office during the visit and surgery scheduled within a month. The in-office CT was so convenient and really speeds up the treatment plan. The staff and the Doctor were amazing. I felt comfortable and all of my questions were answered. I would definitely refer him to my friends and family.

I had a deviated septum and sinus troubles along with ear congestion. He performed surgery to fix them and I could not be happier! Finally feels like the cotton has been removed from my ears! And, I can breathe so much better now! Good care and follow up. I recommend his services. He matches the treatment to what you need.

Please be aware this doctor’s charges are ridiculously high and don’t belong to his treatment either. Doctor Robert M Pettis at Orange Coast Head & Neck Surgery is the worst doctor in OC. He failed to diagnose my daughter’s pimple on her nick. In fact, he made it look worst since he decides to drain it with a needle. The dermatologist who saw after that said he should of never touch it and just treated it from the outside. He claimed to know what he is doing, and we trusted him. He charged us $3k for that 5 minutes in his office. His accounting people know how to rip patients off, too.

I cannot praise this MD enough! Although he is a VERY busy surgeon, he never makes me feel rushed! I literally only had a couple of months to live (had a HUGE thyroid tumor that gre INSIDE my throat and around my heart!) and he spent 5 HOURS doing very difficult surgery on me and saved my LIFE, saved my VOICE and saved my SPINE and HEART! This MD could have turned me away, (because this looked inoperable), but he saved me. Only a person who has God’s hand on him would have the AMAZING MEDICAL SKILLS, KINDNESS AND DEDICATION to do this! I have returned for follow-ups and he ALSO improved my BREATHING with a quick, IN-OFFICE, cutting-edge SINUS surgery. I no longer get ANY sinus infections!!! Happy, HAPPY about this because I was previously getting 2-3 sinus infections/YEAR! Big KUDOS, hugs and THANK YOU to Dr.PETTIS and his staff. I look forward to visiting you over the coming decades to remain in good health. THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY LIFE!!!

Dr. Pettis is nice, kind and very caring

ill make a long story short. i was admitted to the hospital (ER) with breathing problems, my air passage was closing down. Dr. Pettis flat out saved my life. Calm ,courteous, and professional.

There was no wait time. He met us for the first time after his busy work day. His office was closed but he came in to see me . It was a Friday night . He scheduled my surgery for 6 am Sat - the next day. He is wonderful.

very warm doctor , very helpful, smart and eager to help , not in it for the money.... A+
