Dr. Pleunneke is one of the best doctors I have dealt with in my 80 years of life. I am a cancer patient and he has treated me with kindness and given me hope and confidence. He has not treated me like an old woman or made me feel that I am doomed. Just the opposite; he gives me hope that I can beat this cancer and live a few more years.

Dr. Pluenneke has been my oncologist for breast cancer since 2001. He is brilliant, compassionate, listens to me, yet had sternly brought to my attention a few years ago, that I needed to change my lifestyle if I expected to live to see only seven more years of life at the rate I had been gaining weight. I took his advice, lost forty pounds in three years-- with a few more to go, and cannot thank him enough for caring about me to the extent that he does, to get me take better care of myself, keeping in mind that I had already won a previous hard-fought battle with cancer, and to not let my then poor health and eating habits end up "taking" my life due to my own poor lifestyle choices at that time.

When you get the news that you have cancer so many things go through your mind. One of the most inportant things is treatment. I have been a patient of Dr Pluenneke since I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005. I was 25 weeks pregnant and I was celebrating my 25th birthday that very week. Dr Pluenneke has been the best, he is passionate about his work, always looking into everything possible; compassionate with his patients,I never felt rushed with him he always spent as much time with me as I needed; and full of knowledge answering all my questions. I owe my life to Dr Pluenneke for allowing me to be cancer free for over 5 years now and being here for my very healthy 5 year old son.

Office is slow and uncaring, you can never speak to anyone when you call the office. You only get voice mail and then no one calls you back.Doctor didn't see me much, I saw the Nurse Practitioner the majority of the time and she told a totally different sorry then the doctor.
