I was assigned to Dr Satake after being admitted to NKC hospital for having a grand mal seizure. My husband has not liked him from the start but I thought I could tolerate him if I could get some answers. I have been seeing him for the last 8 months. I am okay with doctors that say it like it is. I am not hung up on the bedside manner side of doctors as I don't get offended easily. But I do have a problem with being told "I don't know" with no desire to try to find out!!! So I got the following out of him in the 8 months I have seeing him....A part of you brain is not working right, ANOTHER doctor read your eeg and seen some strange activity,take your keppra as directed (been increased 3 times), I "THINK" those symptoms you are currently having are mini-seizures lets increase your keppra and last but not least "I don't know what is but I don't think it is a seizure"..... Time to find a doctor who cares about more than the money I am giving him

I took my mother to see this doctor--after waiting almost 3 months to get an appointment. This man is rude. He is a poor listener and interrupts you frequently!! He seemed to lack compassion or empathy. Clueless. My mother was offended by him from the very start of the appointment and never returned to see him. We gained absolutely nothing from the appointment--except more frustration.

Communication skills are terrible and he is not a very nice person. He spent less than five minutes with me and brought virtually nothing to the conversation. He should ask himself why he is a doctor.

No communication skills at all. Rarely even speaks. Just ran an EMG and said there was nothing he could do for me.

Not very kind. Very flippant! My husband did not like him with in 30 seconds. Sorry but, I would not recommend him. I am a COO, CCO of a financial firm. I do not understand how he can be in business.
