Dr Robert Savala is an integral part of the group of San Francisco's finest physicians. Dr Savala takes the time to explain in detail the recommended processes and medicines involved before the examination and then performs the procedure flawlessly. His decades of experience, expansive medical knowledge and attention to detail combine to make him a paradigm of what a fine anesthesiologist/surgeon should emulate.

Dr. Salva seems very experienced as he keeps making a point of telling you how experienced he is. That said, maybe his patient experience is with men. As a women he is very rough in his physical exam even when you say ouch that hurts, he continues further rather than acknowledge and adjust his man handeling. I was laid up for a week after he upset my sciatica .

I have been a patient of Dr. Savala for many years. He is.knowledge and caring. I trust his judgment and feel 100% comfortable depending on him. .

I saw Dr. Savala for many years before I moved out of the area. He was always attentive, caring, professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. He genuinely wanted me to feel better. I was never just a number or a "case." His assistant, Deidra, always, always, always returned phone calls promptly. When I called years after I moved away, she even remembered me. Dr. Savala and Deidra seriously spoiled me. Every time I go to an doctor's office now, I keep wondering, "How come you can't be like Dr. Savala and Deidra?"

Dr. Savala seems fine but his 'office" i.e. receptionist is rude and impossible to get anywhere with. I finally gave up on getting another appointment as after 5 calls and no callbacks, I felt it wasn't worth it!
