I spent good money out of pocket to get a colonoscopy to try to discover the source of my issues. This Dr did not give a hoot about them. All he wanted to do was the cancer screening and bill Medicare. His apathy was astounding. Btw, he's apparently known, not just by patients, for his poor attitude.

Very poor bedside manner. Seems to be in a hurry to leave the room. Does explain things but I have problems with severe nausea at times and he told me he doesn't treat nausea! Totally dismissed my complaints and said to just schedule follow up in 6 mos to get refill of meds. Never answered my questions, just turned and left the room stating my colonoscopy and bloodwork were both normal. If you like feeling rushed and that your pain and illness is a bother to him then he's your guy! My family dr even wants me to find a new GI!

We met this doctor in the Good Samaritan Hospital. My grandmother was taken there due to major stomach pain. She had an issue with her stomach over 20 years ago where she had a blockage and her stomach filled with bile, needless to say it was a long hospital stay and a lot of pain. So when we went in this time her stomach looked like she was pregnant and she was in a lot of pain. We tried to explain her history to the doctor and he was dismissive stating that it was just gas and gave her medication. He never came back. Well, she has now been in the hospital for over 3 weeks because there was a blockage and she was filled with bile and it was so bad that when she threw up she aspirated the bile into her lungs (she just had 1/2 of a lung removed last year due to cancer) and almost died because she could not get oxygen. She finally had surgery to remove the obstruction and is on her way to healing. This "doctor" is horrible, horrible bedside manner, horrible attitude, and of… course because he is a "doctor" he knows everything.... Well guess what "doctor" you didn't and you almost cost my grandmother her life... You did cost her a Christmas with her great granddaughter, a long stay in the hospital and a lot of pain. HORRIBLE!!!!!! The state and the hospital have been notified of this horrible treatment.
