Dr Shorr, was very positive, personable. A surgeon with a nice sense of humor. My laparoscopic surgery went well, recovery was easier than I anticipated, he came to see me in the hospital, talked with me and was always very encouraging. He listened to my concerns and I really appreciate that. My incisions healed nicely, very smooth no ugly scars.

Operate for 2 hernias. Brilliant kind man. Fantastic results

Dr. Shor is the best surgery specialist that is in the entire medical field. His excellent bedside mannerism is awesome. He comes and greet you before he operates on you to assure you that everything will be alright. He perks you up to give you the courage that surgery and any other treatment that he performs on you is very assuring.

Emergency appendectomy needed to be performed on me after severe internal pain and he performed it in me. They started laparoscopic and realized it Was punctured and had to open me up. It's all well now after 3 weeks and my second check up. Good professional service over all. Only thing I wish was better is the doctor spend more than 5 minutes with you.

Nurses that work with Dr. Shorr at Centinala hospital in Inglewood are uncaring and non-professional. After completion of surgery, nurse expected me to cleanup blood on my body and dump it regular waste basket. She walked away at the same time as doctor.

The initial pre-op consultation with Dr Shorr for herniorrhapy with was positive and reassuring! Surgery was quick and mimimally invasive on an outpatient basis. Recovery of the typical swelling, pain, incision and "healing ridge" was rapid. Followup observations with Dr Shorr were also positive and reassuring. After the release from his medical care, the incision and ridge have almost dissappeared, the interior repair oblivious (I'm wondering where the mesh/ plug repair actually is in there!). Good job! :)
