Dr. Robert Benjamin Sussman, MD

Part of medical corner, impossible to get an appointment or contacting the doctor through physician exchange. When unable to see him at the clinic, you call the exchange to reach him, they give you the clinic number. and you just go around in circles with their staff.

I had a horrible experience with doctor/clinic. I was a walk in because my normal pcs was on vacation. I needed a Dr's note for missing work and needed meds for myb llness. After waiting about 30 minutes I had my vitals and weight done. I knew the nurse from school. She told me the doctor was super chill and he doesn't really do a great job. From then I was like uh oh. He finally came in. And did the check up. I knew I had something like the flu. But he insisted that o had bronchitis and it was cause by my smoking. I was dying literally. Body aches, a high fever everything. The way he spoke to me was very unprofessional. Talking about things a doctor shouldn't with a patient. He sent me on my way with two prescriptions. One of which I could not get because the pharmaceutical place said they needed the doctors approval. I called a bunch of times with no luck to get in touch with him. After days I gave up. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. He does not seem professional. The… whole office doesn't seem professional. A bunch of young new nursing assistance as office staff b that were just gossiping the whole time.

Our experience at one of Dr. Sussman's clinics was terrible and frightening! We were never able to actually see a doctor. Although my daughter was having asthma/breathing issues, no one would assist, and after a lengthy wait, we had to leave to find help elsewhere before her condition became even worse. All that was required was a simple 10 minute breathing treatment, but the staff could not be bothered. FYI...urgent care means fast treatment for bleeding or breathing issues. Don't go to the Medical Corner Clinics!

I injured my back and was referred my the E.R. DR to find a local Dr to evaluate and diagnose my injury, When I arrived I informed them that we had no Insurance but had applied for Quest, they quickly got my payment out of the way and then informed me they are not accepting any more quest patients,they then took my weight and vitals (about 2 min) then the Dr came in to see me, asked about 3 questions and never touched by back or looked at it, I told him the pain pills I had were not working for me and I was still in a lot of pain, He ordered an MRI,(which I cannot do, because without quest approval I will be charged for it)He then gave me a prescription and sent me on my way. I inquired what I had paid $90 dollars for and they could not give me a good answer other than that's the way it is. My wife and I noticed after we walked out that the entire staff seemed to be laughing and what just happened. I tried to speak with the Office Manager but she dodged my calls and had messages passed… on to me thru a receptionist, Also side note---- when I went to the pharmacy to fill my perscription they informed me that the medicine I was already taking was way stronger than what was just prescribed to me... no point in using a lower dosage when the higher dosage isn't doing the job for me... Again-- all this Office did for me was remove $90 from my checking account....

I was a walk in and waited less than 30 minutes for an appointment. Dr. Sussman was very professional, and seemed to know what he was talking about. I found out that his clinic does family practice as well as urgent care, and so I think I will start coming to The Medical Corner for my usual check ups.
