Dr. Robert T Perez, MD

Purposely got me hooked on pain meds to keep me coming back. When he was placed on probation Dec 2017 he left me high and dry. I am glad that this happened as I went through major withdrawals for at least a two months. Don't trust him for any reason. His agenda is clearly for monitary gains only. Looking back my sessions were usually 20 minutes or so long and always had to wait for at least one hour or more to be seen because he was always late and sometimes he would talk about his own problems in my sessions. I will never see him again. Patent beware...

I have visited psychiatrists in the past, but I have never had a doc spend so much time getting to know me. During the initial assessment, he was thorough and he was diligent in making sure he got the information correct. He told me I had a difficult to treat type of depression with anxiety (atypical depression), which the other psychs never were quite able to piece together, and defiitely the other psychs never came close to treating properly. After the first month of the medications Dr Perez chose for me, I was feeling better, moods were stable, and I was feeling as good as I had ever felt. Keep in mind that I had gone to see psychs with twice the years of experience that Dr Perez had, and they just couldn't seem to get it right. His attitude and temperament were accommodating and pleasant. I read on the Medical board website about some ridiculous allegations against Dr Perez, and I over heard that Dr Perez ex wife of only a few months had been seen dating the investigator of… his case, who wrote these negative reports about him. I think I will call the Medical Board to enlighted them about conflict of interest laws, especially when it negatively affects good doctors like this one. We need more doctors like Perez in this community.

Iv been seeing this doctor for a few months the office was kinda messy. The secretary's were very rude and un professional . I was told that the doctor would moving offices and was supposed to get a call before my next appoint to let me know where they had moved I had never received one or message went to my appointment and he was no longer there . Tried calling numerous times and the phone went to a full voicemail. I'm very frustrated I really liked the doctor but this has really stressed me out I have no way of finding him and I need my medical records have been off my mess now for almost three weeks and everything is falling apart .

Horrible to get an appointment with, call the phone and it is a personal cell phone with a scattered message. When I finally got an appointment with him, I showed up waited 30 minutes outside his office of which the outside door was locked and he never showed up. Tried calling 4 times and no answer. After missing the appointment his nurse called and left a message upset that I had missed it.
