I saw Dr Fredrick 2 times . He always answered my questions and concern. My knee surgery is Thursday. Looking forward to getting back to normal. He explains everything theroly.

My 2nd visit to Rothman Orthopedics and it was truly a great experience. Dr. Robert Frederick took excellent care of my issue and answered all my questions. I’m truly grateful for the staff and doctors there. they really care about their patients. Thank you all. I really recommend Rothman Orthopedics because they truly care.

This is updated to my previous review. (6/19/23), seen Dr, Frederick regarding my right knee pain and issues. Also, how I had developed a Backers cyst and it was filled with fluid. He was extremely unprofessional, seen me for total of less then 5 minutes, did not answer my questions, fact he didn't even ask if I had any. Did not address my cyst or the way my knee was deformed so to speak. He did not address the X Ray he ordered. Nothing was explained to me at all. He said I will order an MRI and thats it, did not even tell me to follow up or anything. Then said in his report that my symptoms were out of proportion. That is unprofessional for any Dr. to state to any patent considering the history etc. This felt to me like an IME defense exam. BEWARE do not go to this place and see this Dr. HE no longer cares for you or you health. I will NOT RETRUN AND WILL SEE SOMEONE WHO SEEMS TO CARE FOR PATIENTS.

Dr Frederick’be careful what you ask for...’ regarding a MRI for my son’s shoulder. Why wouldn’t you get an MRI for a shoulder that keeps popping out every time he played lacrosse? He recommended 6-12 weeks of PT. I took him to my PT, not with Rothman and my PT said he probably had a tear in his labrum and PT would not help. I was so angry with Dr Frederick for using that quote, not listening to my son, and dismissing him injury I had my husband call and demand a rx MRI. MRI shows he has a torn labrum and needs surgery. I’m done with Rothman after they said I didn’t tear my rotator cuff, didn’t break my knee cap, and didn’t break my calcaneus! PennMed is where I will bring my injuries. NEVER AGAIN Rothman Institute!!!

Seen the doctor for a right knee issue. He was nice and seemed caring. I had a telehealth visit and I waited an hour and he enever got on. That's a very unprofessional thing to do to a patient. I am appalled that any doctor would do that to a patent.

He screwed up my ACL surgery which has resulted in 3 surgeries since. The opposite of punctual, he was never less than an hour late and never gave me more than 10 minutes.
