Dr Robert Jared Weinfurtner, MD

Dr. Weinfurtner is an Associate Member and serves as the Breast Imaging Fellowship Director and DXA Director. Dr. Weinfurtner has been a member of the radiology department as a breast imager since 2014. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his MD degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Society. He completed an internship at the University of Pennsylvania and a Radiology Residency at University Hospitals of Case Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed a Breast Imaging Fellowship at the University of South Florida at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr. Weinfurtner's clinical interests involve multimodality diagnostic breast imagining and DXA imaging. Nationally, he serves on the Society of Breast Imaging (SBI) Mentorship Committee and the Association of University Radiologists (AUR) Abstract Review Committee.
