Dr Jones is a nice man , but the staff is horrible . NP, PA. won't listen to the patient their in to much of a hurry to get out , You will be screamed at by the NP , she's having a bad day , well DON'T take it out on the patient. And DON"T ask to see the DR. because they'll tell you he no longer sees his patients.....
I think the staff was great. The ARNP explained everything to me including my mri before the doctor came in and I feel like someone is finally looking at my entire problem and not just wanting to do surgery
I found the office very welcoming. Staff was very informative warm smiling faces quickness in makin the appointment go with no kinks made me feel almost like a family member. great visit thumbs up all the way
Dr Jones and the PA were great. The staff is a different matter. Don't question them or they will hold up procedures, referrals and medications.
My husband has been seen in 2 other pain clinics in two other states. The other doctors just wanted to give him higher and higher doses of painkillers. Dr. Jones spent a lot of time with my husband explaining why this isn't working. At first my husband was upset when Dr. Jones only offered to decrease his pain killers slowly and try other things. My husband still has some back pain, but now he is finally more awake and less confused. We are actually able to go out and do things.
I see Lindsey PA for the most part. She is an excellent listener , does very well with critical thinking .
Spends no time with you I saw him for about 3 minutes and he never took off his surgical mask. You see a nurse prac who runs about a hour behind. Do not return calls for 2 to 3 days. I would stay clear of this practice.
I had a great experience. I felt this doctor was more willing to listen to my experience with MS and migraines than my last neurologist
my procedure did nothing for me.
Dr. Jones and Lindsey are exceptional. They truly and sincerely care about relieving your pain.
This doctor was easy to talk with. He seemed a like a normal person and that made me fell comfortable
I've had back pain before and ever since my surgery. I have been to three other pain doctors in this city since 2008 and realize that there is no perfect pill or shot. But this clinic at least tries. I am impressed with the amount of time they spent going over my previous records and looking for something new to try. They didn't treat me like a drug addict, because I didn't ask for pain pills.
Love the doctor, he is very good. The staff on the other hand are very poor. Do not be in a hurry when you come in, also when calling.
i told them i didnt want surgery and they offered medications and injections. they gave me new medications but were a little stingy with the lortab my other doctor gave me. they didnt have my mri like they should have but they let me wait while they got it faxed. my pain is better some. im glad i went but i was hopping to have less pain
No one ever calls you back and when they do they blow you off and treat you like a drug addict. I am very disappointed that Dr. Jones lets his staff act like this. I will be finding a new doctor.
It took too long to actually get an appointment after my Doctor referred me here. Other than that, this was a great office. I've now been here for two different reasons (nerve pain and now neck pain) and they have helped out quite a bit.
I've been seeing doctor Jones for my headaches and neck pain for about a year now. Aside from having to wait a while longer than I wanted some visits, I have had nothing but a good experience. I saw another pain doctor who wouldn't do botox injections or any neck injection and wouldn't try any new medications. Dr. Jones has tried all that and I have much less headaches. I read some of the reviews here and can't agree with them. First of all, they all wear name tags in his office and by the third visit you know them anyway. Now Helen up front and Linda both know me by my name and I've never felt like I was being treated like cattle. I've only met one other person not happy with Dr. Jones and it was because she couldn't get all the pain pills she wanted. I'm glad I found this doctor. I'd recommend any friends or family to them.
Google maps had their address listed as somewhere else. I had to call them from the wrong parking lot to get the right directions. My appointment was at 1030 but I wasn's brought back until 11:15. Then I had to wait 15 minutes more for the doctor. He took his time though and I thought he was a good guy and easy to talk to. He reviewed my MRI with me and explained my nerve problem to me well. The medicine he started me on has helped quite a bit. I'm scheduled for an x-ray injection next week on my bad disk. I think overall it was a very good experience. I have read some of the bad reviews of them on this site and I didn't have any problems aside from the directions and waiting room.
I have seen other pain doctors in the past and felt like I wasn't making any progress. Dr. Jones and Abby made a new plan and explained more about my diagnosis than any other doctors had. I am at least hopeful that my pain may improve. They spent over thirty minutes with me and didn't seem rushed. I did wait for a few minutes at the lobby window before someone checked me in though.
It is a shame that an office would be run this way. It is akin to a slaughter house ,patients are mere cattle and money is the overriding issue. They treat you as if you are a "junkie" even though you have properly documented well established pain. Wait times are horrendous, and staff is extremely discourteous. I only go there because I have to ,but I can assure you my Dog would not be taken there. They have to many patients and cannot figure out how to be human with them bad news ....bad news
Have been there several times and his staff is most unfriendly, don't know anyone's name, don't wear tag nor introduce themselves, they do not smile and have been seen speaking abruptly to each other in front of patients. They do not call back and use unsafe practices regarding the procedures they perform. They make patients under the influence of sedation walk, unattended, back to a room following a procedure and never follow up on them. They have failed to give oxygen during procedures where sedation is used. The procedure room is not patient friendly, table is small and they expect you to hang your arms off of the table during a procedure. Dr Jones never acknowledges his patients in the procedure room. At the TOSC patients are also expected to walk around after procedures under the influence of sedation. There is no organization in the office, would not recommend this place at all.
I had my 1 appointment with Dr. Jones yesterday. 1st off, the front office staff was very friendly and efficient. They wanted to make sure that they got my insurance right to make sure that I wasn't over/under charged. They were so friendly! 2nd... the nurse, Lisa I think... WOW she was wonderful. Made me feel comfortable and listened to. That means so much to me in this time of get em in and get em out. Lisa empathized with me and lots of questions about my pain. 3rd Dr. Jones is friendly and thorough. He asked lots of questions to figure out what and where my pain was. I felt listened to, and for the 1st time I have hope that I am going to have a plan that will help me live with the pain I had. Dr. Jones made sure that I understood the medicines that he was prescribing and that would have to give them a real chance to work. Lastly, I would like to thank each and every staff member that I interacted with yesterday, they were AWESOME!!
This office is not visible from Capital Medical Blvd. It's off the side street Jaclif, and took us a while to find it. The office staff was friendly. The doctor was running a little behind, but did spend an appropriate amount of time with me. I was happy to see that was interested in trying to find out what my previous doctors had tried for my Parkinson disease and sciatic instead of just shooting from the hip. He did try to take into account the cost of the medications on my plan.
Staff was pleasant. Dr. Jones has a great bedside manner. Will return to this office as needed. I will be telling family and friends about Dr. Jones
I recently had to change doctors and had heard good things about Dr. Jones. I had read some negative reviews here and was worried, but the staff was great and he was personable. I think the other reviewer just had a personal issue with one of his staff. The doctor is actually very friendly and took the time to explain my back problem to me in a simple way that my surgeon didn't. I would definitely recommend him to a friend.
