Dr. Ron Gerald Landmann

Dr. Ron Landmann was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. He didn’t greet me, falsely accused me of recording him, and responded to my questions with sarcasm. He ignored my medical concerns and made me feel disrespected and unwelcome. I would never trust him with my care.

I find it hard to believe that the negative comments given on this page are valid reviews. I have spent the last 7 years being treated by Dr. Landmann and feel extremely fortunate to have found him when I did. I was dying from ulcerative colitis and had J Pouch surgery performed by him that saved my life. If you are reading this and are still sick, stop researching and go see him. He is at MD Anderson in Jacksonville as of May 2019.

Run dont walk away from him

I saw many specialist and doctors in the Orlando, FL area for a year and was about to have a surgery that I found out later would of not been the surgery that I needed. I am forever grateful to Dr. Landmann for reviewing my records and doing the testing to find out the real cause of my problems. Hero's come in many different forms and mine came as a DR. Dr Landmann did a colectomy and j pouch surgery on my daughter. He failed to diagnose a surgical complication that lead to a severe infection which put her life at risk. He failed to diagnose this over two months over multiple hospital admissions. He repeatedly referred her to a gastroenterologist stating her symptoms as non surgical. He failed to answer multiple pages from other physicians during repeated admissions. He accused my daughter as being the cause of her symptoms. He failed to answer multiple calls from me to his office. He failed to answer multiple pages from the colorectal surgeon who found and diagnosed what he had missed for months. My daughter has asked me to make sure that Dr Landmann never does to another person what he did to her. Do not see this surgeon. He is not a surgeon I would ever recommend to one of my patients.

Upon enduringing a consult and subsequent physical exam with Dr. Landmann, I found that he does not take the time to explain his process or exam at all. With curt directions be told me to get on my knees where he proceeded with a rectal/colon exam with NO explanation. The majority of the rest of the appointment time, he spent on the computer. He was rude, arrogant, and patronizing. I was shocked that a doctor of such poor caliber.was employed by Mayo Clinic.

Dr Landmann is outstanding! I would most strongly recommend him for any of his specialties. Both my wife and I have been fortunate to have benefited directly from his extensive experience, vast knowledge and tremendous skills to perform surgeries and other treatments to fully address our medical conditions. Thank you for your compassion, understanding and patient-focused care tailored to each patient. We are forever grateful!
