Dr. Ronald Dolor Gonzales, MD

There is no other Infectious disease provider like Dr. Gonzales in the Central Florida region. He has been the primary infectious MD for my family member for a number of years now. He *knows* his field. He is very, very intelligent and will not hesitate to admit he doesn't know if it's something he isn't sure of, like a new treatment. Without fail, he will then research and find the studies and info, getting the expertise needed. He is not hesitant to reach out for a second opinion if more information is warranted. He's a pleasure to deal with, and he communicates to both family and other providers - I have never had an occasion where he hasn't followed up or responded to a message. And in a field like ID where I hear many, many providers who say "this is just what you have to deal with" Dr Gonzales has never once shrugged or given up - he's always been up for trying to help if will help make my family member more comfortable or potentially give her better quality of life. I can't say… that for any other infectious disease practice in the region. I've had multiple other infectious disease providers who have shrugged, made my family member worse, or have not been willing to entertain the possibility their way was not what would work in this specific case. I credit Dr. Gonzales with giving my family member a lot more time of living comfortably because he was willing to think outside of the box. He's the best of the medical field, which is very hard to find in Central Florida.

Visited Dr. Gonzales for the first time today (7-9-2021). I found him to be very condescending and demeaning. His "beside manner" was atrocious. I felt belittled and squelched every time I asked a question. I will never return to his office after the treatment I received today.

Dr. Gonzales has been my primary physician for over a decade. He is thorough, patient, and compassionate. He is accessible and responsive. He provides the highest level of care!

He was great and explained more things to me in my first appointment than my last doctor did in the past year regarding my situation. He was very attentive to me and knew how to counsel me. I am very grateful that I got referred to him.

Dr. Gonzales attends to all my medical needs with extra care and superb dedication for several years.
