Dr. Bryant was my son's surgeon for his first open heart surgery. There is a reason he is called the gentle giant. His demeanor is very calming and reassuring. He even gave my son his personal cell phone to play games on during our pre op appointment. He walked me through the procedure, step by step, using terms that I could understand and was very compassionate when I couldn't contain my emotions. He and his staff are simply amazing. We received many updates during his 5+ hour surgery and post op he was happy to answer any and all questions I had for him. Even my 3 year old son (who was the patient) took to him very well and was happy to have a visit from him in the step down unit before going home. I will forever sing his praises.
