Dr. Rosa Maria Galvez, MD

I know when I have an appointment with Dr. Galvez that I will be treated with respect and dignity. I never feel rushed, even though I know she is extremely busy, and always get all my questions answered. My most recent appointment was to get approval for foot surgery and I feel she was very thorough in her assessment. She was also very helpful in exactly which tests would be given since the directions from the other doctor were very vague. I appreciate her professionalism!

This was my first appointment with Dr Galvez where she seemed rushed and didn't take the time to answer my questions. She complained that I hadn't been taking care of my diabetes when this was my first real diagnosis. She brushed off my questions and basically sent me to the internet. I don't know any more about what I need to do than I did before the visit. If this were my first visit with her I would be looking for another doctor.

I’m so impressed with Dr. Galvez. She’s very thorough and spends plenty of time with me. She really listens to me, then diagnoses my problems.

Dr. Galvez is an excellent physician. She is thorough in her review of my electronic medical records and does not rush through my annual physical. She answers all of my questions. I highly recommend her as a physician.

I recently had to find a new doctor because mine moved out of state. Dr. Galvez was recommended by a friend, and I was very happy with the time she gave me and I never felt rushed. It was my first visit, but I must say that I left feeling that I made a good choice..

A staff member told me over the phone that I had cancer and that I was being referred to a specialist. I did not have cancer or any indications of cancer. The staff member denied that the conversation took place.

I HAVE BEEN SEEING DR GALVEZ FOR SERVERAL YEARS AND I AM GETTING TO THE BRINK......I ALWAYS WAIT FROM AYNWHERE FROM 1-UP TO 3HRS.....SHE SPENDS TIME WITH ME, BUT I AM JUST NOT SURE HOW I AM GOING TO CONTINUE WITH HER. IT IS GETTING HARDER AND HARDER TO GET IN TO SEE HER.....ANYWHERE FROM 2-4 MONTHS..AND THEN WHEN I DO GO IT'S A LONG WAIT IN THE WAITING ROOM. CALLED MY INSURANCE PROVIDER AND WAS TOLD I COULD NOT SEE ANOTHER UNLESS I CHANGE MY PRIMARY, BUT WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE NEW DR? WOULD HAVE TO REQUEST TO SEE GALVEZ AGAIN BUT NO GUARANTEED...OMG HEALTH CARE HAS CHANGED!!! MAKES ME WONDER IF I SHOULD MOVE TO TIMBUKTOO (IF THERE IS A SUCH PLACE)
