The Palm Coast office of Mid-Florida dermatologist, which I chose because it satisfactorily reviewed, was short a DR so they sent one in from another office. His idea of a full body check for cancerous growths was to pop into the exam room, glance over my body, and instruct his associate to snip or freeze 3 growths, then disappear. Several months later I went to SKIN dermatologists (Dr, Wheeler's office) and Ms. Federico, APRN, spent at least 5 minutes scanning ALL of my exposed body with a lighted magnifying glass and had HER assistant inject lidocaine where needed. Then SHE either snipped or froze three growths the other Dr. either missed or ignored, gave me detailed instructions as to follow-up care, AND scheduled a follow up appointment to make sure there were no problems. Take a wild guess where I will be going for future exams and treatments.

Dr wheeler seems to be a good doctor, but receptionist is extremely rude. I can't get pertinent information on results from test after 1 month. They fax info that is incomplete. Receptionist hung up on me.

The office is welcoming and very nice, and very fast. The Doctor is amazing. He is so kind and always concerned about you as a patient. I would recommend this office to everyone!

After moving to Palm Coast we were in need for a new dermatologist and decides to see Dr. Wheeler. Great decision. He took care of all of my skin concerns the way I was used to it from my former doctor. Thank you Dr. Wheeler.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wheeler for several years and he is very thorough in evaluating skin issues that seem to appear regularly. Recently, Dr. Wheeler identified a basil cell cancer spot on my forehead which I was very concerned about. The Doctor assured me that he’ll be able to remove it completely and he relieved my concerns. Thank you Dr. Wheeler!

Dr. Wheeler is such compassionate, caring dr. He has great sense of humor. He takes all the time you need with him. The office staff as well as the nursing asst. are very friendly. Everyone at the office makes you feel comfortable. Beautiful office, easy to schedule appts.
