Dr. Roy Talbot Young, MD

Dr. Young failed to diagnose Stage IV lung cancer during a 5 day hospitalized visit. He was uncaring to the severely ill patient and yelled at the spouse of the patient. After a relative of the spouse convinced another physician in the hospital to do a CT scan, the metasasized lung cancer was discovered and the patient was transferred to another hospital.

Saw in the hospital for 6 days and he missed the cause of acute pain and was quite impolite. Do not recommend

There is lots to like about Dr. Young. He's very knowledgeable and direct. He is pleasant and disarming, putting you at ease. His staff seems to enjoy working with him as well. His diagnosis are usually on-target. However, sometimes I feel he is a bit too quit to arrive at a conclusion and too quick to prescribe a pill rather than looking at lifestyle solutions. In that regard, his a bit old school, if that's your thing. I would recommend him to a friend with those caveats.

Dr. Young is the BEST doctor I have ever had! My fiance' and I both have been given nothing but positive experiences, helpful advice, and instructions! Dr. Young is a plethora of knowledge. Along side his genius brain, is a peaceful state of mind accompanied by a fabulous sense of humor complimenting even the not so good news he has to tell us at times. He is number one in our book, a true vision and positive representation of what the medical field should be!
