Dr. Roya Dehkordi, MD

Staff is very cold, and the Dr.barely spends time with you. Doesn't ask to see if anything else is troubling you or if you have any other health concerns. Basically, rush you in and rush you out!

I have not had a good experience with this doctor. I am pregnant with my first child, and although I have been luck to have no complications thus far I am particularly dissatisfied with the care I have received with this group. When I met Dr. Dehkordi the first time she spent less than 5 minutes with us, had not reviewed my file before entering the room and did not give me the opportunity to ask any questions. When I went back a month later, I met with one of her partners, (no one had told me this was standard practice) who also didn't bother to read my chart before coming in. They lost the documents from the sonogram they ordered and when we got anther copy misread the report! The staff are rude and treat you like a giant imposition on their time.

I love Dr. Dehkordi. It was my first gyno experience and she was extremely caring and patient. She explained everything she was doing which put me at ease. The staff though, doesn't always sound pleasant. Sometimes, I think they are upset or feel bothered that they have to work or they just sound depressed.

I am 55 and hadn't been to an OB/GYN in a decade, using my family practice MD instead. When referred to Dr. Dehkordi, she was able to determine my needs immediately and did a TVH shortly thereafter which was exactly what was needed. I very much like her bedside manner; she sums up her patients and speaks to them on their level, neither talking down to them nor over their heads. She's probably the best OB/GYN I've had in my many years of GYN needs.......
