I was hospitalized at Methodist Hospital for many days following a ruptured appendix. Dr. Kotula visited daily with a positive attitude, answers to my questions, and a genuine concern for my condition. I looked forward to seeing him and experienced a positive outcome,

Dr. Kotula is a compassionate physician who figured out how to best treat me along with an orthopedic surgeon when I contracted a serious infection 3 years ago. I truly believe that without his care, I would not be here today with all of my limbs. His extra-special care and attention in checking on me after hours both before and after surgery made me feel like a family member and not just a patient. Thanks!

He was rude, and talked to me as if I were a child. Also instead of trying to find the root of the problem, he just wanted to treat the symptoms. Was a very drawn out and horrible experience, just to go to a doctor in another state to finally get the correct treatment.

Dr. Kotula was absolutely one of the most caring and kind, very dedicated doctors our son was treated by while at Methodist Hospital. Without his honesty and caring, our son would not have received the wonderful, much needed care he received. Dr. Kotula has been there for our son every step of the way and we cannot begin to thank him to let him know how much we have appreciated his genuine caring approach to seeing that our son had the best medical care possible. We were very blessed when put in his care!
