I have been a patient of Dr. Myers for more than 30 years. I'm now retired, and I've followed him to MDVIP. Second only to my first FP as a child, Dr. Myers is the very best diagnostician any patient could have. He listens to your issues. Examines the issue and makes a thorough diagnosis. He too has an extremely excellent bedside manner, making the patient feel comfortable in every setting. Dr, Myers receives a 5 star + rating from me.

Best doctor ever! Always spot on with diagnosing a problem, very friendly and caring. He has always made me feel as if I were his only patient. He has been our family doctor since 1992 and have had no problems getting appointments with him.His staff could be more friendly and professional, but he seems to not let them hold him back.

In general I think Dr. Myers is a great doctor and I've been seeing him for over 20 years now. However, over those 20 years Midlothian Family Practice has progressively and consistently gone downhill. Both the administrative and nursing staff are rude, short, and never timely when providing callbacks. As long as you have your diagnosis from Dr. Myers at your appointment, you will be pleased. Otherwise, if you have to have any blood work or other diagnostic tests done, be prepared to not receive a call with your results and ready to make multiple frustrating calls to receive any answers. This is commonplace with the Practice and has happened to my wife and myself at this Practice numerous times. I will be switching doctors now purely based on the lack of professionalism surrounding Dr. Myers.

Dr. Russell Myers has consistently provided the best diagnosis & treatment options for my myriad of symptoms. I highly recommend him as a general practitioner.

Dr Myers is the best of the best! He is professional,caring and has never made me fell rushed. I've never seen a doctor run more on time!!

Dr. Myers has a very caring bedside manner and listens to your issues before making a diagnosis. He does a thorough exam most of the time and orders any tests needed. Because he is such a good doc, it is very difficult to get an appoitnment with him and the wait times are pretty long. He also sometimes seems rushed, I guess due to the number of appointments scheduled. The follow-up is also spotty. Again, this is due to his workload, I believe. I think he is an awesome doc. I just wish the rest of the world didn't know that.
