Horrible doctor horrible

I will say my Aunt was a patient of this Dr. And her bedside manner was just horrible! It was especially towards the end when she ( my aunt) was told to “ get her ducks in order” imagine that! How horrific. I will say I’ve never experienced a more cold Dr. Than this one. And I’m another note Not even A phone call after she passed away!!! I have to give it a star but would minus the one star or my review wouldn’t go through!!!

Dr. Oratz was not attentive, interrupted a lot during the visit. She surprisingly lacks any compassion for an oncologist. She did not review test results thoroughly and made recommendations that were not evidence based.

This doctor was abrupt and condescending, impatient.

There is never a good reason for an oncologist to make you feel terrible throughout your initial visit. Dr. Oratz was neither compassionate, nor empathetic. Instead, her tone of voice was angry without justification, argumentative without provocation, impatient, disrespectful, and unpleasant. Dr. Oratz was not a good listener. She is an interrupter. She asked questions without listening to the response, often interrupting in mid sentence. This happened despite the fact that we agreed on all (100%) of the medical issues she brought up. Maybe she was just having a bad day? It's not for me to know. Frankly, I would never want to feel abused by her bad mood or unpredictability ever again. Perhaps if a third person had been present during my visit, Dr. Oratz would have acted differently? Maybe our meeting would have been productive and more professional.

Dr Oratz and her nurse practitioner Ellie are the best. I won my battle against breast cancer not only thanks to the care they provided but also thanks to their support and kindness - Juliette

Dr. Oratz is thorough, knowledgeable and caring. She led me through a very complex set of chemotherapies and cured my cancer. She is a true doctor's doctor!

I believe, I have made the right decision by choosing Dr. Oratz as my oncologist! She is very smart, compassionate, and simply amazing as a person!!! She helped me tremendously to go through the toughest time of my life!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Oratz for several years and I can not say enough good comments about her. I saw her for breast cancer. First , she's compassionate, and warn and brilliant. Second she makes you feel everything is going to be ok, in a tough situation. Mostly, I love that she's a progressive thinker. She's really ahead of the curve to what's out there in the cancer world. I love Dr. Oratz and would highly recommend her!
