Dr. Ryan Carlson, DO

I had pimples and visited Ryan, he prescribed me pills to balance hormones and got a gel for shower and cream after shower, but after stopping the medicine i got worst acne, NOT RECOMMENDED.

If I could give zero stars I would. The amount of unprofessionalism is astronomical. Its a literal joke. Every single time I have come to see him it is about 20-30 minutes AFTER my appointment. Normally i just let it go, but as I am back at work, the lateness cannot be tolerated. It's unacceptable. Other people work too. For my most recent appointment I waited 40 MINUTES AFTER the correct time of my appointment to see him. My appointment was supposed to be at 8am, wasn't taken back until almost 8:30 and then spent about another 15-20 minutes for him to show up. The front desk is a mess. I'm on a medication that requires me to go in every month or I have to start over. Well they couldn't fit me in throughout that whole month in the morning so they went farther out all while assuring me IT WOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM. Well it was and now I'm locked out of the program and have to wait a MONTH to START ALL OVER AGAIN. Despite being assured over and over again it wouldn't be a problem. If you're… considering this place or this doctor, FIND SOMEONE ELSE. The dr himself may not be the whole problem, but the wait time, when I'm on time mind you, is completely unacceptable.

Very thorough and efficient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend him. Staff is very good!!!

I lived in the shadows for 5 years, suffered severe depression from a keiloid on my cheek. Went with my husband on his visit to see Dr. Carlson, he told me to make an appointment. I needed steroid injections, by my third visit I just needed topical cream. I can't explain in words how grateful I am to this Doctor! I swell up in tears just thinking about it. My life and my health is back. I feel normal again, able to return to life and all its Glory! No fear of awkward looks or embarrassment, if I run into an "old friend." If you have any concerns about your complextion, go see this Beautiful Soul (and Amazing Staff)! What do you say to someone who saves your life? I can't thank you enough for your patience, Dr. Carlson! My are glad to have their mother back!!

I have been seeing Dr. Carlson for just over 3 months now. He recommended a full body scan and ended up finding a skin cancer on my neck that I was not even aware of. He removed it and the cosmetic results are great. He was very thorough before the surgery in answering my questions and showed genuine compassion in my time of anxiety. I will continue to see him for regular body checks and have referred family members onto him.

I went to see Dr. Carlson who had been recommended to me, but he didn't spend much time with me and was insensitive with the comments he made about my complexion. He insisted on removing a small bump on my cheek which wasn't noticeable or a problem. It only took him a second, and he cut widely around it and far too deeply, leaving a large pink pock mark on my face that's never returned to flesh color. It's very noticeable and much worse than the tiny little flesh tone bump I had before. When I called his office a few days later, they wanted me to come back in for another appointment which was NOT free of charge as it should have been. No, thank you. Dr. Carlson is all about the money considering he billed me a substantial amount to damage my skin in just a matter of seconds. In and out. That's how he makes the cash, with no consideration for the patient. If Dr. Carlson had taken his time, and hadn't been incompetent, I would not have this crater on the side of my cheek. Dr. Carlson… should not have a license to practice medicine based on my experience.

I found Dr. Carlson to be short with his time and explainations of what was occurring on my daughters face. He was dismissive of my imput. There is nothing warm and fuzzy about him which some may like, but for my daughter, a little softer approach would have been welcome. The rest of the staff were nice and helpful.

Dr. Carlson was absolutely fantastic. He was able to finally diagnose a rash I had been dealing with for many years and for which I had seen other docs for. He provided me with alot of education and also many free samples. I have recommended him to many of my friends and family members. You won't be disappointed. Oh yeah, and everytime I went to see him there was essentially no wait!!
