Dr. Ryan Van Vechten Evans, MD

I joined my brother-in-law for his in-person visit with Dr. Evans by phone. The concern is vascular dementia. As others have remarked, Dr. Evans is a patient listener, a thoughtful care provider, confident in his knowledge while open to new information and one of the most compassionate doctors I've spoken to in a long time. I walked away knowing more about what we can expect and what steps are recommended immediately (i.e., fresh MRI, new labs) plus relieved to know that my beloved brother-in-law is in such good hands.

First visit to Dr. Evans and so impressed with both staff & doctor. He spent over an hour with us explaining diagnosis and answering questions and did not rush us through at all. This physician is both warm and informative and makes you feel comfortable immediately. SO very glad we chose him & would not hesitate to recommend him. We sought his expertise for Parkinson's and were very pleased.

Over the past year and a half, Dr. Evans has addressed my rather non-specific pain and nerve issues and has done so with patience and empathy. He is a fabulous listener, non-judgemental and willing to re-think medications when they are not a good fit. I highly recommend this young physician not based on credentials alone, but because he clearly is willing to work with a patient to improve his or her quality of life.

Dr. Evans is a caring professional who genuinely listens to a patient's concerns and questions. He actively works to improve his patients' lives. His staff is pleasant and competent. The office seems to run smoothly, and wait times are usually short. I highly recommend Dr. Evans.
