Dr. Salvador L Sarmiento, MD

I saw Dr Sarmiento for about 6 months in 2018. The moment I met him, just being in his presence gave me extreme anxiety. He had me on 6-8 medications at a time that just made me feel worse and when i brought this to his attention he said “it’s only been 3 months, you haven’t given it enough time.” and he would never directly answer any questions I had (if i was given the opportunity to ask any!!) eventually I just didn’t make a follow-up appointment and took myself off all my meds cold turkey because I figured that would be better than seeing this guy again.

Just kept over prescribing 3 drugs at a time that just made me worse. When I would try to reach him, he’d never return my call or just say go to hospital, and he would never follow up after hospital visit. Passed me off to a clueless nurse practitioner who still kept throwing more and more meds at me.

Dr sal was very very nice to me. He has great bedside manner. I was suppose to be there for 20 mins. But I was there for one hour an 15 mins. He answered all my questions an then gave me his opinion. Thx u dr sal
