Dr. Salman Saad, MD

Poor work ethic of the office staff. I was waiting for the doctor through video visit, and the Doctor never showed up. Staff never called me back either to follow up. Clear instructions were not given, and it seems that the staff and doctor lack professionalism.

This jokester is just that a joke! I've been a patient of Dr.Crockett for many, many years. He was off one day and I needed to see him, they referred to this guy. I have never been treated by a doctor so rude!!! It's been a while since I saw him, but it's still fresh in my memory. Do yourself a big favor, find someone else. I wouldn't go back to see him if I was dying!!!

This doctor lectured me and tested my knowledge of medical procedures in the exam room when I asked questions, clearly to embarrass me. He told me to stop cutting him off at which point I said that as a brand new patient I thought our rapport was off to a bad start. He told me it didn’t matter to which I responded that as a new patient it does matter - a lot. We went back and forth with him shooting down every idea I had and then in the end telling me he had already ordered the tests I had requested before I asked for them — contradicting everything he had just said about all of my dumb ideas. He also pulled up my medical records and read out loud my precious doctor’s notes to make himself look better, but also contradicting what my last doctor had told me about ordering a test. During my new patient visit he left the room after 10 minutes of lecturing me, and I had to ask if he would order me blood tests before he left the room. I feel belittled and humiliated which I think was his… point. Not a fan of John Muir.

Dr. Saad is the best doctor I ever had. He really cares for his patients. He also is yet to be wrong when diagnosing me. He is really good at explaining everything. Even when draw diagrams to insure I understand. I have had my fair share of bad doctors but Dr Saad will definitely give you hope that there still is good doctors out there. He is very honest as well. You honestly can't find a better doctor.

I moved to the bay area two years ago and chose Dr. Saad as my primary care doctor after having a bad experience with my first choice. Dr. Saad is an excellent doctor in every aspect. He is extremely attentive to my needs and concerns, listens with interest to my concerns and is very generous with his time explaining his diagnoses and treatment options to ensure that I fully understand. He has never rushed through an appointment with me like some doctors do. He genuinely shows compassion to my concerns and is especially compassionate to changes in my health as I enter my mid 70's. I am so pleased that Dr. Saad is my primary care doctor as he has demonstrated that he is a doctor that I can fully trust with my health care.

Do not seek care from this man. He told me I had three hours to live and sent me in an ambulance to John Muir Hospital where they performed 9 hours of tests. The examining doctor there was furious because Dr. Saad had flagrantly misdiagnosed my condition, which ended up being a pinched nerve and not a life-threatening illness! Dr. Saad should not be practicing medicine.

I had an emergency and had to be in the hospital overnight, the hospital was able to diagnose my condition, however they never took the time to explain what was happening to me. As a follow up I made an appt with Dr. Saad, he took his time to explain the recent diagnosis to me, he even drew me a diagram to show me exactly what was happening. He is very to the point, which I think is good.

first thing out of his mouth, "you seem tense". I had never met him but was apprehensive from reviews I'd read. I cancelled appt but was talked into going by a staff member that recommended him. The office had lost most of its doctors so it was Saad or a PA. I should have listened to the reviews. He was condescending and made improper assumptions due to poor listening skills and apparently not having reviewed my records. I transferred to another practice the next day after 15 years with this office. I would not recommend him.

Did not listen to all my symptoms prompting another visit to another Dr for proper diagnosis. Would NOT reccommend.
