It is with gratitude that I recommend Dr. Samer Ghostine, Neurosurgeon, who practices at UCLA. He performed spine surgery on me 5 months ago, and my severe leg pain is now gone. I interviewed 3 different neurosurgeons and received 3 wildly different treatment plans. We had the most confidence in Dr. Ghostine, and chose him, even though the hospital was located 2 hours away. I had complications and Dr. Ghostine and his PA Vince got me through it all. They and their staff were kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. Once home, I was able to communicate with Dr. Ghostine easily through the UCLA app. Having this surgery was absolutely worth the pain and emotional toll. I am 70 years old, and can now envision myself living life without debilitating pain, without a wheelchair, and doing all the physical things that make life worth living. Thank you!

Dr. Samer Ghostine, Neurosurgeon at UCLA Medical. Dr. Ghostine successfully performed an extremely complicated surgery on my spine at UCLA Medical in Westwood. I had two long days of surgery: anterior surgery on day-1, front side access; followed by posterior surgery on day-2, back side access. After one and a half months following surgery, I am healing well and experiencing very little pain, and am extremely happy with Dr Ghostine's medical expertise conducting this procedure. Dr Ghostine has also shown empathy with me, in the office and at the UCLA medical facility. I would highly recommend Dr. Samer Ghostine for spinal neurosurgery.

Dr. Ghostine replaced the C6-C7 vertebra in my cervical area and literally help me regain the life I had. I am free of the pain I endured for 8 months and back to many of my normal activities. He is kind, caring and an excellent surgeon. He is the best.

I am 76 years old and had several herniated discs including sciatic (L2 through L-5 S1). I had the surgery by Dr Ghostine on 5-23-22, expecting to be in the hospital several days. I was up the same day and came home the next day! He is an EXCELLENT surgeon. My healing is much quicker than anticipated and it has been way beyond my expectations. If anyone is hesitating to have spinal surgery, please see him if at all possible. He is very personable, answers questions thoroughly & improvement was immediate, although it will take a while for the nerve to regenerate. I cannot praise him enough!

6 months after surgery for herniated disc and stenosis I am pain free and numbness/weakness is gone. I highly recommend Dr. Ghostine as a surgeon and patient advocate.

I was suffering from lower back pain for 18 years, until the pain became unbearable and it was difficult to walk without assistance. For someone in their mid-thirties, it was both physically and emotionally difficult to come to terms with what I thought would be my new normal; until I was referred to Dr. Ghostine by Dr. Kane and Dr. Branch at Raincross Medical Group. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating to my situation, assisting me through the office and to the exam room. Dr. Ghostine was sympathetic and honest with me about my situation, recommending a microdiscectomy. I have always been against back surgery, but he made me feel very comfortable. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I knew I was in good hands. On the day of my surgery, the pre and post op nurses were like an extension of the office staff, so awesome and caring. Dr. Ghostine and his P.A. Genevieve were there every step of the way after the surgery, checking in on me throughout the… recovery. I would recommend Dr. Ghostine and his staff over and over again. Also, a huge plus, everyone at the office has a great sense of humor and are extremely personable. I couldn't have asked for a better life experience.
