Dr. Sabeen completed her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She earned her Medical Degree from the University of Chittagong, Chittagong Medical College and a Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from Johns Hopkins University. She completed a Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at the Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia and is Board Certified in General and Geriatric Psychiatry.
Prior to joining our CSB, she was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. During this time she was also the Associate Program Director of the Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Program.
Dr. Sabeen has an extensive background in research in the Departments of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine and the Department of Health Policy and Management, Division of Behavioral Science at Johns Hopkins University .
