His bedside manner was horrible. Didnt help. rushed me out. bad day?

I saw Dr. Becker earlier in 2023 for an ongoing throat issue that I had for 6+ months. He ordered few tests and asked me to come back. On second visit, he had not even seen the test results and ready to meet me and said will call back. No call back. So no progress from first visit. Through these 2 visits, he did not provide any diagnosis or value. Very unprepared and not interested to even have a conversation with me. I was in and out on both visits in few mins with no understanding of what was the issue or a plan. I was charged hundreds of dollars for the 2 visits that were of absolutely no value. Waste of time and money. I would have given less than 1 star rating if possible. Very disappointed!

Had multiple appointment for a hearing loss issue in one year. The approach he took for diagnosis was ok, however unable to pinpoint the cause nor was ready proceed with next step. He was more interested in taking me multiple audiology test in his office and pushing me to a hearing aide, rather than identifying the cause of the issue, I wouldn’t recommend him unless it’s a routine ear check-up of audiology tests.

A doctor visit that was completely unacceptable on any level. Dr. Becker upon hearing me initially, immediately decided to pick a verbal fight, not about me personally, but about previous doctor efforts. Over the next 15-20 minutes, repeatedly made comments that can be summed as follows: Patronizing me constantly. Repetitive and unwilling to listen. Constantly indicated he needed me to bring years worth of medical data to even discuss medical possibilities (!) Finally, got a script for medical imaging, but office screwed up the authorization request with the insurance, and I almost risked having insurance deny me coverage and bill me. Unacceptable social interaction. Incompetent ability as a doctor. Can't work with insurance properly. Would never go to this doctor ever again. I wouldn't accept this behavior from a friend. I sure won't from a paid doctor.

After suffering from repeated sinus infections, nasal blockage, and sinus inflammation for all of my life, I finally saw Dr. Sam Becker after having seen numerous other ear, nose, and throat specialists. Not only is Dr. Becker ahead of the game, with the newest techniques, technology , and mechanisms for his field, but he is candid, honest, and forthcoming. He explained why I needed the sinus surgery (Polyp, deviated septum, complete sinus blockage) yet also did not push me into getting it, for it was my decision. After fear and hesitation, I saw Dr. Becker a few more times when I was suffering from more sinus infections. A few years later, I finally bit the bullet, and the surgery has been life-changing. Even the nurses at the hospital informed me of what a superb surgeon Dr. Becker is and to relax because I was in good hands. Dr. Becker even gives you his personal cell number if you need anything post surgery. There is no packing and the aftermath is not nearly as bad as I had… anticipated. Now 41/2 months later, I can actually breath, I sleep better, and I haven't had a sinus infection. I have decreased my nasal medication and don't have to hang my head over steam every night and refill the vaporizer all winter, feeling crumby. I am wholeheartedly impressed, happy, and feeling nasal complicated free for once in my life. I only regret not having it done years ago. Thank you Dr. Becker to a job phenomenally done. If you are going to go to anyone, it is Dr. Becker, you want to see. He is one of the top in his field.

Outstanding Doctor and Practice.

Had some surgery for a deviated septum with Dr. Becker. Did a great job! Did not overpromise about the results but should have because I'm 100% better than I was before. After surgery noticed I was still swelling a bit and prescribed a spray that has really helped a great deal. Also working with his allergist on staff and she's been great too. Nice guy, very easy to talk to. And I appreciate the early morning appointments so I don't have to take time off from work. I highly recommend his practice!

I came to see Dr. Samuel Becker for a â??deviated septum,â?? which was making it difficult for me to breathe only though my nose. He was the third ENT doctor that I saw in the central NJ area. The first one recommended surgery before I even finished explaining what my problem was, which made me very uncomfortable. Dr. Becker, on the other hand, did not mention surgery during my first visit; he first had me try a nasal spray for a few months. Only when that failed did he recommend surgery, explaining in detail what that would entail. The surgery (â??septoplastyâ??) is rather simple: youâ??re in the hospital for around 3-5 hours, itâ??s under general anesthesia (I didnâ??t even realize when they injected me, and I woke up an hour later as if I had just woken up from a very relaxing nap), and itâ??s included in most insurance policies (as long as itâ??s not combined with any cosmetic procedure). Your nose is kind of stuffy for 4-5 days (you should definitely take off 1 week from… work), and fully healed in 2 weeks. All in all, I was very satisfied with the surgery and highly recommend Dr. Becker for several reasons. First, he is a genuinely nice person who takes a personal interest in his patients. Itâ??s important to develop a sense of trust and respect with the person who will be cutting you open while youâ??re out cold. Second, he has a very good reputation in the surgical department at Princeton Medical Center. While I was laying on the bed waiting to be taken into the operation room, several unrelated nurses came up to me, asked me who my doctor was, and told me that they had consistently heard good things about him. We were behind schedule by about an hour and a half, and they all said that this was â??normalâ?? for Dr. Becker, because he spends extra time with each patient to make sure that everything is perfect. Third, the surgery really did turn out great, and I can finally breathe normally through my nose! Be aware that you will almost always be seen 30 minutes later than your appointment time, and you will sign multiple disclaimer forms each time you enter the office, but in return you will never feel that Dr. Becker is rushing you to finish explaining your problems. Anyone who has been to any doctorâ??s office in the past few years can certainly appreciate this! I also found the office staff to be knowledgeable and polite, and they made a special effort to learn how to pronounce my name, which was nice of them. In short, be prepared for longer wait times than usual, but also for much higher-quality service than any other ENT doctor in the region.

I was sent to Dr Becker for constant sinus infections. He is easy to talk to answers your questions with no problems .His office staff is also friendly and willing to answer any of your questions. I had sinus surgery and am doing great. I also would like you to know the hospital staff was friendly and attentive. I felt very comfortable there. I loved my experience with Dr Samuel Becker and would recommend him to everyone.
