Dr Daniyan is my two children's pediatrician for 7 years. My children LOVE Dr Daniyan. he is very engaging with them and makes them laugh. He is very knowledgable and very caring. in fact he was written up in our local newspaper and is known around here as the Baby Whisperer. I couldn't ask for a better pediatrician

 |  Poor English skills, Makes threats to parents, abusive staff.  |  show details
by D James EMT on Feb 1st, 2014

This pediatrician and his staff scares my fiance and me.. As a proud parent of a perfectly healthy 48-hour old newborn, his office wanted to rip her out of our arms, put her in another room of the office away from her caring parents, and look at us like we were crazy when we voiced some concern. Our healthy, new daughter has NEVER been separated from us and he didn't care. The staff will threaten the parents, as they did with us, with calls to the C.P.A instead of explaining ANYTHING to the new parents regarding office or reasonable policy. My wife and I looked at each other and said, lets leave. We went to the Oroville Emergency room, (which lead to our current pediatrician) for a standard check-up without problem because Dr. Daniyan and his office are too abusive to their customers. Dr. Daniyan's office was mad at us because we didn't agree with office standards and wanted a second and local opinion. They wanted their money and didn't care about the parents, the child, or any other concerns. Dr. Daniyan has a VERY thick African accent and it is difficult for him to find his words and explain anything to the new parents. I also believe he was trained in a foreign Medical School. His office was VERY close to being hit with a slander lawsuit because they were calling emergency contacts who were on a parents list about 3 years ago, now, of which, the emergency contact has been on a restraining order, but Dr. Daniyan's office called him anyway, threatening people, and using poor investigative skills for their threats to the parents. Our emergency numbers are on file, they didn't call those. They called the emergency number to an ex-boyfriend who has a restraining order against him, looking for the phone number of the parents. (so they say) Stay far away from this Dr... Go to Dr. Neals office in Oroville. He is a great man, Dr Daniyan is scary. We first met this man while he rammed his way into our hospital room while the mother was breast feeding, he didn't knock and he ran out of the room without saying anything. I had to ask the nurse, who in the heck was that man? He later returned to look at our new baby, he spent 2 minutes in the room, didn't talk to the parents, muttered a few words he was having difficulty in finding to a nurse, has a VERY thick African accent, speaks semi-fluent English, makes threats instead of resolution to parents, on and on.. AVOID!!
