Incomplete information after surgery on May 26,2011. Post surgery he failed to see me in his office for severe fever while at home. Never informed me what a fistula was and why I had two fistulas on my colon.Dr Elaine Haran Md informed me that I was severely infected during surgery and that Dr Liftshitz cut my colon twice. The cuts were closed by Dr Odem during surgery. The cuts developed leaks into my pelvic area causing infection and fistulas.I was not given information why I had surgery for drainage tubes. Was never informed the purpose of a pic lines. From June 11, 2011 to August 5, 2011 I suffered physical and mental pain due to two cuts in my colon during surgery on May 26, 2011.
