Dr. Sandra Abraham-Hebert, MD

I took my mom to this woman who has no right to be a doctor for a standard annual check up. For the 30+ years my mom has lived in the US, she’s had 10+ surgeries, all by different doctors, yet she’s never met such an entitled, disrespectful, nasty doctor in her life, let alone a person. At the time, my mom was due for her shoulder surgery soon, which the woman knew might I add, and struggled to sit up, lie down, etc. Instead of asking to help, or ask if she’s okay, she proceeds to YELL, “GET UP! GET UP!” Who does that? Especially a doctor to a patient. She continued to brag about how she’s so busy because she has so many clients, that we should be grateful that she could see us because my moms original OBGYN doctor was unavailable that day. When she asked my mom “how long have you lived in the states,” she didn’t even give my mom a second to answer before she snapped. “HOW MANY YEARS, MRS. X?!?!” She snapped each time my mom took over one second rock answer. Given the nature of the… appointment, my mom already felt vulnerable, and to be ridiculed the way she was... Oh, and I think you would be interested to know how cowardice she is: after the appointment, she didn’t bring the paperwork to my mom who was still waiting in the room, she brought it out to me because she knew what she did was wrong and didn’t want to face my mom. Maybe she was scared she would be confronted about her unacceptable behavior and get in trouble, and/or it’s because she’s so unprofessional, that she didn’t want to face my mom, her patient, and just decided to give me all the paperwork and end it there. Whatever the case, I don’t care. No doctor treats their patient like that. No decent human treats another human like that. She absolutely disgusts me; she’s the reason I saw my mom cry for the first time after her father passed. Imagine being so humiliated by someone you’re supposed to trust and feel comfortable around. I don’t know who she thinks she is, trying to make herself feel superior to others by making them feel inferior. Coward.

I don't recommend this doctor.

Keep your children away from this doctor! She botched my son's circumcsion and I will do whatever it takes to let everyone know what she did. She did not even follow up with me, she called me one time and when I tried to call her back she said she has nothing to do with it any longer and for me to see a pediatric urologist. Her circumcision was performed very sloppy and carelessly, how dare she do this to my son! Lack of compassion, lack of professionalism, she should have her liscense taken away for the lifelong damage she has done. I will look to see what my rights are and do whatever it takes for her to have consequences to what she has done. Instead of being happy about my newborn son, I worry everyday about what she did while she could care less. Once again, if you are pregnant, do NOT let this woman near you or your child!

Dr. Abraham-Hebert has been my doctor for as long as she has been at Women First. She is caring, has a bubbly personality and is great with follow up, as appropriate. I highly recommend this physician.

she is a great doctor but her staff with the name of Sheela or Sheila is terrible. I tried to get an appointment to with Dr and this Sheela associate completely shut me out. I had told her i was in emergency night before and needed to see the doctor but she had no sympathy. i hope she sleeps well in night. Dr you will loose loyal patients if you non-caring hourly workers working for you.

Had both of my kids through c-section by her. Couldn't have had a more efficient Doctor. Simply outstanding in every category. Very knowledgeable, caring, empathetic. You will see for yourself.
