Dr Davidson performed a lithotripsy on me for a 9mm kidney stone (after a 2 week wait). I asked what to expect afterward, and he said I would be uncomfortable. I had intense pain for 2 weeks. I went for my follow up Xray and appointment with the PA, and it showed the stone was now 7mm and stuck in the ureter. It was a Friday. I had to get a CT scan and then wait until Monday to see Davidson the following Monday. Monday I felt like I was sitting on the stone. It was very painful. Davidson didn't look at the CT. He just read the report which did not mention a stone. Even though I insisted the stone was there, he dismissed me and gave me an antibiotic. I was able to get an appointment with a different urologist the next day who looked at the CT and saw the stone stuck in the lower ureter. He scheduled me for surgery the next day. Also, Dr Davidson's nurse Jaqueline is the rudest healthcare person I have ever encountered and should NEVER be allowed to interact with patients. … Go somewhere else.

I'm AA and I was told My PSA was high and since I'm AA the doctor told me we had to wait and see, I trusted him got tested every 6 months 6 biopsy's That's like 52 needles in your prostate over a four yr period. Fast forward 4 yrs, and Dr. Davidson with the wait and see approach, now tells me I have stage 3 cancer. Wow, I trusted him, and had no Idea of all the nurse drama from before, had I known I might not have used him, but he was younger then most of the doctors, I was using, and I thought he might have some new insight into his craft. I was and still am so disapointed in trusting someone to do their best and let me get to a stage 3 after 4 yrs of biopsy's. I changed doctors, and they asked me how did this doctor let it go for so long without doing anything, I had no answer for them, as I put my trust in this guy. I was always nice to the guy and had no idea, he cared nothing for me, even to the point of letting me get full blown cancer after 6 biopsy test, during a 6 month 4 yr… period. PSA steadily rising, and His thing was to wait. IF your AA Male with Prostate issues, pass by this guy or he will leave you out to dry with his wait and see approach for AA.

Dr. Scott took care of our daughter when she was little, with some urinary complications that ran in her mother's family. He is TERRIFIC. Now that I am older and suffering from the usual "enlarged Prostate" that comes with age, I have been his regular patient for the last 5 years. I always dread seeing him, just because I am uncomfortable with the probing and poking that goes along with the exam, but he is a terrific doctor, and we admire him greatly. Highly recommend him!

Went to him for an 11mm stone in my right kidney. Had lithotripsy at a local hospital. When he went to talk to my wife after the procedure he said “I think I pulverized it but we can’t be sure”. Wife asked him the type of stone and he shrugged and said I don’t know. I was sent home with no screen, no instructions other than to attend a follow up appointment 10 days later. I made the appointment for 8:00 am but upon my arrival the office was locked although I could see him roaming down the inner hall. No staff was present for another 30 minutes. He finally personally unlocked the door (obviously having issues with staff) and I had my follow up appointment where he had to dig for my file and told me he thought he got it. I asked what type of stone I had and he said “I don’t know.” Since he didn’t send me home with a strainer or any other instructions of course he had nothing to test. I had another lithotripsy today on the same kidney for remnants of the first stone I suspect. … New doctor was caring and communicative and sent me home with the proper tools for testing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this arrogant man for any procedure.

Ouch (literally and figuratively). I’ll stick to the facts: 1. Dr. Davidson performed a Vasectomy operation on me. 2. The procedure was MUCH more painful than I had expected. 3. The metal clamp placed on my VAS tube became snagged on connective tissue, causing me to have a large bump that was EXTREMELY painful to touch. 4. Additionally, the procedure was a failure. 5. We scheduled a follow up surgery to remove the snagged clip, as well as another vasectomy attempt 6. By the time of the surgery, the snag has dislodged itself; we proceeded with the surgery so he could attempt another vasectomy. 7. The 2nd vasectomy was also unsuccessful 8. Dr. Davidson suggested I have a sperm count analysis done to determine if my sperm count was low enough 9. The analysis showed that I am WAY above the normal count range to have more children. I would suggest another urologist for your vasectomy, as Dr. Davidson’s TWO attempts were both complete and utter failures. The procedures were… painful, took me out of work, and after a significant financial sacrifice, were a complete waste of my time.

Will not call patients to discuss labs over the phone. This is wrong. Unethical. Not prudent care. Office staff beyond curmudgeonly all the way to irascible. Find another

Probably the coolest, most competent, extremely confident yet humble (a rare combination) doctors I have ever met. Very great communication about pre-op, post op, and takes the time to explain everything you want to know about a procedure. Bedside manner (usually a lost art in 2019) is exceptional. No question he will be my Urologist until I cash in my chips.

Dr Davidson did my thyroidectomy 10 years ago. He saved 2 parathyroids and did a fine job of removing many lympnodes saving me from another surgery down the road. He and his staff communicated with me and my wife promptly with any information. Love him.

Vasectomy went exactly as he predicted. He explained everything he was doing as he went. Really appreciated the nurse and had no issues with the staff.
