Dr. Scott Andrew Hannan, MD

I am a patient but am very hesitant to return. During my last visit he stated that the only reason a doctor prescribed a certain med was to get me out of his office and not have to deal with me. I no longer take any medications but Hannan offered zero advice on how to stop taking them. I had to research everything on my own. I need to get a physical but his social media posts are so off the rails that I’m afraid to talk to him about any of my concerns. He might have been a moderately stable person before but I’m convinced he is not anymore. He used social media to berate a patient.

I saw this doctor as a new patient at Cleveland Clinic. My mother went along with me. He didn't realize I was a employee. He came into the room and screamed at me about wanting pain control. My mom told him she's really just trying to get help. I had absolutely nothing in my system and have never had any problems. It's now years later and I have several chronic pain related diagnosis'. He screamed at me, ran me out of the office, berated me, told himself he was stupid for taking me on as a patient while holding my chart and banging his head against the wall. I've worked next to some of the best physicians at Cleveland Clinic and I couldn't believe what was happening to me. I've never seen any doctor treat a patient this way. I was left with white coat syndrome and Trauma to where I didn't see another doctor for several years after that experience. I do not recommend seeing him. I know other patients who really liked him until they experienced similar incidents. Where he just popped off… on them for no reason. He has also posted a patient's name on The Business website then removed it recently. He creates Facebook posts all day long during business hours. Just completely unprofessional and from my experience unhinged. And I know I'm not the only victim out there. For a fact. And if you speak ill of him in any way he will threaten to sue you. He crosses many many boundaries as a professional.

Dr. Hannan is the best!!!

Visited doctor for possible sinus infection. Never conducted physical, wrote prescription for antibiotic, accused patient badgering nurse for prescriptions, did not wish to discuss patients symptoms or reasons for visits. Constant interruptions, jumps to conclusions without listening to patient or concerns. Never conducted exam, just typed on laptop.

As soon as I walked into the room and sat down, he asked me a few questions of which was about me not taking a sleep apnea test and promptly told me that he didn't have time for a crabby old woman and quickly informed me that I was raised that way. Professional?????? I think not! Bedside manner -None!

Love having him as a doctor

He is friendly and he really checks your medical history good, to make sure you get the right treatment that you need. I will keep going to him as long as he is in the field of medicine. I am going to tell my family and friends about him. Good doing a good job. Thanks for being my doctor.
