Dr. Aksut should not be allowed to have any interactions with patients. He is rude and always seems to be in a rush with whatever he does. I have seen how he deals with his staff and his patients, and am shocked he is still in practice. Unbelievable!

HE HAS TO MANY PATIENTS TO SEE AT HIS OFFICE. AFTER HOSPITALIZATION HE DID NOT EVEN KNOW ME IN HIS OFFICE NOR WHAT HE DID TO ME IN THE HOSPITAL. HIS NURSE BRINGS IN YOUR CHART AND TELLS HIM WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT PROCEDURES HE PROFORMED ON YOU IN THE HOSPITAL. HE DOES A LOT OF PLACEMENTS OF STENTS AT THE VAUGHAN IN SELMA. I HAVE HEARD THAT HE SHOULD NOT BE DOING ANY STENTS BECAUSE HE DOES NOT HAVE "BACK-UP". I ASKED HIS NURSE ABOUT THIS AND SHE SAID "THE AMBULANCE ALWAYS STAYS WHILE HE DOES STENT PLACEMENT." WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? ARE THEY THERE TO TAKE ME TO A BETTER QULIFIED HOSPITAL SHOULD ANYTHING GO WRONG? THIS IS A SMALL TOWN AND I AM A DISABLED NURSE. I FEEL WE NEED MORE TRAINING FOR THE NURSING STAFF TO ASSIST THESE DOCTORS THAT SAY THEY ARE SPECIALIST IN CERTAIN AREAS. I DON'T SEE WHERE DR. AKSUT IS BOARD CERTIFIED IN CARDIOLOGY ONLY INTERNAL MEDICINE. HE GETS ANGRY WHEN A PATIENT DECIDES TO TRANSFER TO A LARGER HOSPITAL OUT OF TOWN FOR SPECIALIZED CARE. I AM PROBABLY GOING TO TRANSFER TO A CARDIOLOGY GROUP IN MONTGOMERY, AL. THAT I HAVE BEEN TO BEFORE. I WAS HOSPITALIZED HERE WITH HEART ATTACKS CAUSED BY SICK SINUS SYNDROME AND HE DID PUT A PACEMAKER IN.
