Dr. Shahram Hormozi, MD

I had the stress test on May 14, 2019. The two individuals who did the test explained every detail, were courteous and seemed to be very caring about me as a patient. The male was Giovanni and unfortunately I don't remember the young lady' s name. I got a call with results two days later.

Staff is extra professional and attentive to your needs.

Wonderful caring Dr. great staff who explains everything to you. Dr. H. is very attentive to what you say and listen to what is bothering you,

Great doctor but you can't trust the receptionist. It took me 3 days and up to a dozen calls to finally get her to fax an echocardiogram report done 6 weeks ago to my primary doctor. The receptionist tells you that she sent it and the other office informs me that she didn't. After telling me that she fax the echocardiogram report to the office, her story later changes to the doctor didn't even right the report up 6 weeks later. On another occasion, I called after an ER visit after syncope and a specific question about the continuation of Valsartan in light of the medical emergency. I sensed the receptionist wasn't listening so I emphasized the urgency that the doctor returned the call. That call was never returned and I doubt he ever received the message.

Have been a patient of Dr. Hormozi for many years. he has always proven himself to be an excellent, and very educated Doctor. He truly cares about his patients and has always shown the upmost care whenever I go to his office. He does not go from A to B he goes from A to Z and will find out what the problem is and the best way to correct it. he surrounds himself with the most knowledgeable professionals concerning cardiac care, and in turn we are afforded the best care there is.

Doctor is very quick in diagnosis. Very efficient in surgery. Decisive in approach

A wonderful man, and a wonderful Dr. He is caring and gentle, but,when needed, he can be straight forward. honest, and tough. He is insightful and thorough. He is what I need as a cardiologist.

Dr. Hormozi is an excellent physician. His patients are his top priority. He is a great listener, pleasant, and concerned about my health and well being.

Does not care about his patients. not very caring and never on time

Wife had him do angiogram while in emergency room at Good Sam in West Islip. He said heart's okay, only 20% blockage, released from Hospital, problem unresolved. 4 weeks later follow-up with a new young cardiologist after stress test, said need to go immediately for new angiogram/plasty. Head of St. Francis Heart Center-Roslyn said blockage is over 80%, placed stent in and saved wife's life. My wife went around for over a month as a walking time bomb, thanks to the quick and very painful work of Dr. Hormozi, Did not even introduce self until wife was in cath lab at Good Sam, then left in a flash after saying you have no heart problem to be concerned with. Avoid him like poison, and for that matter avoid Good Sam for your heart, too !
