Since joining the Kessler Institute in 1990, Dr. Parikh has focused his attention primarily on orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation, amputee rehabilitation, electromyography, neck and back pain, and acupuncture for pain management. He is involved with both inpatient and outpatient services at Kessler's Saddle Brook campus.

He has written numerous articles and abstracts for peer-reviewed publications and wrote a chapter on "Vestibular Rehabilitation" for the textbook, Rehabilitation Medicine Principles and Practice in 1998. He also serves on the faculty of the New Jersey Medical School.
He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Association of Academic Physiatrists and the New Jersey Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
